Pre-functional checklists augment and are combined with the <br />manufacturer's start-up checklist. The commissioning process requires that the <br />procedures be documented in writing, and that CxA witness much of the pre- <br />functional work and all of the larger or more critical pieces of equipment. <br /> <br />G. OPR: Owner's Project Requirements: A document that details the functional <br />requirements of a project and the expectations of how it will be used and operated. <br />These include Project goals, measurable performance criteria, cost considerations, <br />benchmarks, success criteria, and supporting information. <br /> <br />H. Startup: Initial starting or activating of dynamic equipment, including executing pre- <br />functional checklists. <br /> <br />I. Systems, Subsystems, Equipment, and Components: Where these terms are used <br />together or separately, they shall mean "as-built" systems, subsystems, equipment, <br />and components. <br /> <br />1.4 COMMISSIONING TEAM <br /> <br />A. Members Appointed by Contractor(s): Individuals, each having the authority to act <br />on behalf of the entity he or she represents, explicitly organized to implement the <br />commissioning process through coordinated action. The commissioning team shall <br />consist of, but not be limited to, representatives of Contractor, including Project <br />superintendent and subcontractors, installers, suppliers, and specialists deemed <br />appropriate by the CxA. <br /> <br />B. Members Appointed by Owner: Include CxA, Representatives of the facility user and <br />operation and maintenance personnel, and Architect and engineering design <br />professionals. <br /> <br />1.5 SUBMITTALS <br /> <br />A. Documents: For all systems to be commissioned, the following shall be distributed to <br />the CxA prior to equipment purchase and concurrently with Architect and Engineer <br />of Record. CxA’s review of submittal does not alter the scope or responsibility of the <br />Architect or the Engineer of Record. <br /> <br />1. Manufacture’s cut sheets. <br /> <br />2. Performance data including but not limited to the following: <br /> <br />a. Fan curves. <br />b. Pump curves. <br /> <br />3. Installation and startup manual. <br /> <br />4. Operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance manuals. <br /> <br />5. Shop drawings. <br /> <br />B. Documents: For all systems to be commissioned, the following shall be distributed to <br />the CxA prior to the drafting of Pre-functional Checklists and Functional Test
