<br /> <br />THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH <br />PROJECT NO. 21-1011 <br />BUILDING DEPARTMENT RELOCATION TO ANNEX <br /> <br />Project No. 21-1011 November 2024 022100 Site Survey-2 <br /> <br />C. The Contractor shall be solely responsible for all locations, dimensions, and levels, and shall field <br />verify all elevations and dimensions. No data other than the information contained in the <br />Drawings and Specifications and orders of the Engineer shall justify departure from the <br />dimensions or levels required by the Drawings. <br /> <br />D. Based upon the information provided by the Drawings, the Contractor shall verify the locations of <br />existing property lines and right of way boundaries, existing permanent drainage easements and <br />proposed temporary construction easements in relation to the proposed work and access areas <br />and notifying the Owner of any discrepancies. <br /> <br />E. The Contractor shall verify the location of all utilities in the Project Area and within the <br />construction footprint. The Contractor shall be responsible for any disturbance or damage to <br />existing utilities and the cost of any required replacement or repairs. The location of any irrigation <br />lines or minor utilities shall be field located by the Contractor. <br /> <br />F. The Contractor shall have the responsibility to carefully preserve the benchmarks, reference <br />points, and stakes. In the case of destruction thereof by the Contractor or resulting from his <br />negligence, the Contractor shall be charged with the expense and damage resulting there from <br />and shall be responsible for any mistakes that may be caused by the unnecessary loss or <br />disturbance of such benchmarks, reference points, and stakes. <br /> <br />G. Existing or new control points, property markers, and monuments that will be or are destroyed <br />during the normal causes of construction shall be reestablished by the Contractor and all <br />reference ties recorded therefore shall be furnished to the Engineer. All computations necessary <br />to establish the exact position of the work shall be made and preserved by the Contractor. <br /> <br />H. Temporary Benchmarks: The Contractor shall provide and protect temporary construction <br />benchmarks within the construction limits. <br /> <br />I. Grading: The Contractor shall provide fine grade or other grade stakes required for the <br />construction of the project as the work progresses except as otherwise stated herein. <br />1. Special design ditches shall be staked with an offset and cut to the centerline of the ditch. <br />Radius points for pavement flares at connections shall be staked by the Contractor. <br />2. Generally, slope stakes shall be set by the Contractor as an initial part of the <br />construction operations on the project. <br /> <br />3.3 CERTIFIED PILES SURVEY <br />A. Provide in accordance with Section 316217 "Vinyl Sheet Piles" <br /> <br />B. Sufficient detail will be provided to confirm that the as-built condition of weirs and fish passage <br />openings are in accordance with the Construction Drawings. <br /> <br />3.4 POST-CONSTRUCTION STRUCTURAL SURVEY <br />A. Provide in accordance with Section 407701 "Vibration and Groundwater Monitoring". <br />3.5 AS BUILT SURVEY <br />A. Generally, the required survey area will be defined as the limits of construction. Sufficient detail <br />should be provided to document and confirm that the proposed improvements were constructed <br />in accordance with the Construction Drawings.
