Drawings and general provisions of the Contract, including General and Supplementary <br />Conditions, General Requirements, and Division 01 Specification Sections, apply to this Section. <br /> <br />1.2 SUMMARY <br /> <br />A. The work shall consist of the Contractor providing surveying and stakeout as detailed herein for <br />the successful prosecution of work as indicated on the plans and as directed by the Engineer. <br /> <br />B. Related Requirements: <br />1. Section 311000 “Site Clearing” <br />2. Section 407701 "Vibration and Groundwater Monitoring" <br /> <br />1.3 SUBMITTALS <br /> <br />A. Signed and Sealed (PDF) and associated electronic CAD file (AutoCAD 2025 or newer) will be <br />provided for review and approval: <br />1. Pre-Construction Structural Survey <br />2. Post-Dredge Survey <br />3. Post-Construction Structural Survey <br />4. As-Built Survey <br /> <br />1.4 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br /> <br />A. The Contractor shall ensure the following surveying work shall be performed by or under the <br />direct responsibility, control and personal supervision of a Land Surveyor holding a valid license <br />to practice surveying in the Commonwealth of Virginia. <br /> <br />PART 2 – MATERIALS (NOT USED) <br />PART 3 -EXECUTION <br />3.1 PRE-CONSTRUCTION STRUCTURAL SURVEY <br /> <br />A. Provide in accordance with Section 407701 "Vibration and Groundwater Monitoring". <br /> <br />3.2 CONSTRUCTION SURVEYING <br /> <br />B. All work under this Contract shall be constructed in accordance with the lines and grades <br />shown on the Drawings or as directed by the Engineer. The Contractor shall be responsible for <br />all the field horizontal layout and vertical control of the facilities to be constructed under this <br />Contract including connection to new and existing facilities
