4. Operational Efficiency - Maintaining a standardized fleet reduces costs related to training, parts <br />inventory, and repairs, ultimately improving service delivery. <br />In compliance with Chapter § 62-13 (1) of the City Procurement Code, the bus will be procured via the <br />FDOT TRIPS -22 -CA -MB -LF Contract. This contract was executed between the Florida Department of <br />Transportation (the "FDOT") and Model 1 Commercial Vehicles, Inc. meeting all state regulations that <br />are applicable to our shuttle service. <br />Based on the contract terms, the bus shall be warranted and guaranteed to be free from defects for a <br />minimum of Thirty-six (36) months or thirty-six thousand (36,000) miles, whichever comes first, <br />beginning on the date of acceptance by purchaser/end user of each vehicle. <br />Delivery is anticipated 12 months from the issuance of the Purchase Order. <br />ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: <br />The ARBOC Low -Floor Shuttle Buses are designed with accessibility features, including a low -floor <br />design, wheelchair ramps, and spacious interiors to enhance passenger comfort and convenience. <br />The purchase is budgeted for Fiscal Year 2025 and supports the City's commitment to providing reliable <br />public transportation services. <br />Purchasing through Modell Commercial Vehicles ensures compatibility with existing fleet <br />infrastructure and minimizes the need for additional training or equipment modifications. <br />The purchase of this bus is included in the approved Fiscal Year 2025 budget and will be funded through <br />revenues received by the Miami -Dade County People's Transportation Plan as approved by the Office of <br />the Citizen's Independent Transportation Trust. <br />FUNDING SOURCE: <br />Funds have been appropriated in Account No. 110-5-5440-464200-00000. <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />Resolution <br />Quote <br />Item Number: 9.6 <br />69 <br />
