Effective July 1, 2025, paragraph (a) of <br />1133 subsection (12) of section 1009.26, Florida Statutes, is amended <br />1134 to read: <br />1135 1009.26 Fee waivers. - <br />1136 (12)(a) A state university, a Florida College System <br />1137 institution, a career center operated by a school district under <br />1138 s. 1001.44, or a charter technical career center shall waive <br />1139 out-of-state fees for students who are citizens of the United <br />1140 States or lawfully present in the United States, inelaing, but <br />1141 net te, students whe --are uRaeeufaented—€er federal- <br />1142 <br />ede ,'1142 , who meet the following conditions: <br />1143 1. Attended a secondary school in this state for 3 <br />1144 consecutive years immediately before graduating from a high <br />1145 school in this state; <br />1146 2. Apply for enrollment in an institution of higher <br />1147 education within 24 months after high school graduation; and <br />1148 3.
