Summary of Work: The CONTRACTOR shall furnish all labor, materials and equipment necessary for <br />the construction for concrete walkways, curbs and gutters, ramps, miscellaneous concrete slabs and <br />wheel stops, as shown on the drawings. <br />1. SECTION 03300 - Cast-In-Place Concrete <br />2. SECTION 03200 - Concrete REFORCEMENT] <br />1.02 APPLICABLE PUBLICATION: <br />A. Florida Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, <br />latest edition, (FDOT). <br />1.03 DEFINITIONS: (Not Used) <br />1.04 SUBMITTALS: Submit copies of proposed concrete mix design and compression strength tests for review. <br />1.05 QUALIFICATIONS: (Not Used) <br />1.06 RESPONSIBILITIES: (Not Used) <br />1.07 CERTIFICATIONS AND TESTING: Perform tests in accordance with standards hereinafter specified. <br />1.08 INSPECTION COORDINATION: The CONTRACTOR shall provide access to the WORK for the ENGINEER <br />as requested for inspection. The Contractor shall provide 48 hours notice of its intention to begin new <br />WORK activities. <br />1.09 WARRANTY: (Not Used) <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br />2.01 CONCRETE: The CONTRACTOR shall provide concrete for sidewalks, curbs and gutters, ramps and <br />miscellaneous concrete slabs as specified in FDOT Specifications - Section 345 “Portland Cement <br />Concrete.” For miscellaneous concrete slabs Class I concrete shall have a minimum strength of 3000 psi. <br />2.02 METAL ACCESSORY MATERIALS: The CONTRACTOR shall provide metal accessory materials for <br />miscellaneous concrete slabs as indicated on the Drawings and as specified in FDOT Specification - <br />Section 931. <br />2.03 PRE-CAST CONCRETE WHEEL STOPS: The CONTRACTOR shall furnish pre-cast concrete wheel stops that <br />are nominally six inches high by eight inches wide by six feet long or accepted equivalent. One wheel <br />stop shall be furnished per parking space or as shown on the Drawings. Wheel stops shall be reinforced <br />with two #4 bars.
