Page 1 <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Labinsky:  <br />  <br />Gallagher Bassett Technical Services (GBTS) was retained by The City of Sunny Isles Beach (Client) to  <br />conduct an asbestos survey of the Former Tony Roma’s/ Future CSIB Offices (subject area) located at  <br />18050 Collins Avenue in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida.  The survey was performed on November 29, 2023 by  <br />Andrew Grupenhoff of GBTS (certified under the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act, (AHERA). The  <br />purpose of this asbestos survey was to identify the presence, extent, and condition of asbestos‐containing  <br />materials (ACM) for compliance with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) National Emissions  <br />Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP), Miami‐ Dade County and applicable State and Federal  <br />Guidelines.  <br />  <br />1.0 SUMMARY  <br />GBTS collected a total of 26 samples of the following materials:  <br /> White plaster wall  <br /> Gray terrazzo floor tile  <br /> Brown wood texture ceramic floor tile  <br /> Brown brick partition wall  <br /> Beige ceramic tile and grout  <br /> Yellow carpet glue  <br /> Red epoxy flooring  <br /> White plaster ceiling joint  <br /> Blue DWS  <br /> White 2’x4’ drywall ceiling tile  <br />  <br />  <br />Asbestos was not found in amounts greater than 1% in the sampled materials and therefore are not  <br />considered to be ACM. See attachments for laboratory results.  <br />
