If the county provides 378 <br />insurance through a self-insurance program, the county must also 379 <br />provide the sheriff with commercial stop-loss coverage in an 380 <br />amount and with a self-insured retention agreed upon by the 381 <br />sheriff and the county. 382 <br /> (IV) Legal representation and advice through the office of 383 <br />the county attorney for all claims, demands, and causes of 384 <br />action brought against the sheriff, his or her deputies, or 385 <br />other personnel in their official and individual capacities, 386 <br />while acting in their official and individual capacities, 387 <br />including any required outside counsel due to conflicts of 388 <br />interest.
