For the purpose of incorporating the amendment 1186 <br />made by this act to section 768.28, Florida Statutes, in a 1187 <br />reference thereto, subsection (5) of section 455.32, Florida 1188 <br />Statutes, is reenacted to read: 1189 <br /> 455.32 Management Privatization Act.— 1190 <br /> (5) Any such corporation may hire staff as necessary to 1191 <br />carry out its functions. Such staff are not public employees for 1192 <br />the purposes of chapter 110 or chapter 112, except that the 1193 <br />board of directors and the employees of the corporation are 1194 <br />subject to the provisions of s. 112.061 and part III of chapter 1195 <br />112. The provisions of s. 768.28 apply to each such corporation, 1196 <br />which is deemed to be a corporation primarily acting as an 1197 <br />instrumentality of the state but which is not an agency within 1198 <br />the meaning of s. 20.03(1). 1199 <br /> Section 32.
