(4) Presentation: At Commission Workshop or issued through City Clerk's Office. <br />(5) Restrictions: <br />a. Shall not be issued to political candidates, political committees, former or current <br />City elected officials, lobbyists, members of the media, or for-profit entities; <br />b. Shall not be issued to individuals with criminal backgrounds or ethical violations; <br />c. Shall not be issued within six (6) months of an election if requested by a member <br />of the Commission seeking re-election. <br />Section 4-3. -Administration. <br />A. All requests must be submitted to the Office of the City Clerk via official form within <br />required deadlines. <br />B. The City Clerk shall review submissions for completeness and place eligible items on the <br />City Commission agenda for approval where applicable. <br />C. Recognitions requiring Commission approval shall be included in the next scheduled <br />Regular City Commission Meeting. <br />D. A list of all Keys to the City and Proclamations issued shall be published on the City's <br />official website and updated regularly. <br />E. All ceremonial recognitions by the City Commission are discretionary and not subject to <br />appeal. <br />Section 3 Inclusion in the Code. It is the intention of the City Commission, and it is hereby <br />ordained that the provisions of this Ordinance shall become and made a part of the Code of <br />Ordinances of the City of Sunny Isles Beach; that the sections of this Ordinance may be <br />renumbered or re -lettered to accomplish such intentions; and that the word "Ordinance" shall <br />be changed to "Section" or other appropriate word, as required. <br />Section 4 Effective Date.
