<br /> <br />10 <br />ITB 25-06-01 CITYWIDE HVAC MANAGEMENT PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE <br /> <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH <br />18070 Collins Ave. | Sunny Isles Beach, FL 33160 <br />305.792.1707 | sibfl.net | Purchasing@sibfl.net <br />Section 2 <br />Special Terms and Conditions <br /> <br />2.1 PURPOSE OF THE ITB <br /> <br />The City of Sunny Isles Beach (the “City”) intends to award a contract with a licensed Contractor <br />to provide all labor, equipment, and materials for HVAC preventative maintenance including <br />inspections on chillers, pumps, cooling towers, air handler units, pipes & valves, mini split units, <br />emergency services, coil maintenance, duct cleaning, regular filter replacement and HEPA filters <br />(as-needed, at minimum twice a year). The intent of this contract is to ensure the continued <br />efficient, safe, and reliable operation of all HVAC equipment through routine inspections, <br />servicing, and maintenance in accordance with industry standards and manufacturer <br />specifications on a monthly basis. <br /> <br />Bidder shall, by careful examination, satisfy itself, to the extent it deems necessary, as to the <br />nature and location of the Work, the conformation of the ground and site, access and <br />transportation of materials, the character, quality and quantity of the materials, storage, handling <br />and disposal of materials, the character and storage of the equipment and facilities needed <br />preliminary to and during the prosecution of the Work, the availability, quantity, and quality of <br />labor, water, and electric power; the general and local conditions and all other matters which can <br />in any way affect the performance of the Contract. <br /> <br />2.2 MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS (MQRS) <br /> <br />1. Please read the MQRs to ensure the bidder meets these requirements prior to submitting a <br />response to this ITB. <br /> <br />2. All Minimum Qualification Requirements (MQRs) must be submitted with bidder’s response. <br /> <br /> 3. Bidders that do not comply with MQRs may be determined non-responsive and disqualified. <br /> <br />4. Awarded Bidder will be required to maintain Minimum Qualification Requirement “a” and “c” <br />during the term of the Contract and any Contract renewals. <br /> <br />a. The Bidder shall hold the proper license in the State of Florida to perform the Scope of <br />Work set forth within this solicitation to include being registered as a Certified <br />Mechanical Contractor and/or Certified Air Conditioning Contractor with the State of <br />Florida along with registration to conduct business in the State of Florida in all required <br />disciplines. Bidder must provide a copy of the applicable license(s) with bid response. <br /> <br />b. The Bidder must have been awarded Prime Contractor and successfully performed three <br />(3) projects of similar or greater size, scope, and complexity to the specifications of the <br />ITB within the last five (5) years. <br /> <br />c. The Bidder shall provide reference letters for no less than three (3) projects in which
