Please note that <br />the references must be for the same projects in response to MQR “c” above. <br /> <br />2.3 NON-MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING AND CITYWIDE SITE-VISITS <br /> <br />In-person pre-bid meeting will be held on WEDNESDAY, JUNE 18, 2025 AT 9:00 AM to discuss the <br />special conditions and specifications included within this solicitation. It is strongly encouraged <br />that bidders interested in bidding attend the Pre-Bid Meeting as a tool to be successful in <br />responding to the City’s project. <br /> <br />1ST Location: Government Center, 1st Floor Conference Room, 18070 Collins Government Center <br />Sunny Isles Beach, FL 33160. <br /> <br />2.4 EXAMINATION OF SITE <br /> <br />Each bidder shall visit the site of the proposed work before submitting a bid and shall fully <br />familiarize themselves with conditions relating to construction and labor so that he or she may <br />fully understand the facilities, difficulties, and restrictions attending the execution of work under <br />the Contract. It will be assumed that the Bidder has investigated and is satisfied as to the <br />conditions of work to be performed and materials to be furnished and shall base Bid on their own <br />opinion of the conditions likely to be encountered, and for the bid price must assume all risk of <br />variance, by whomsoever made in any computation or statement of amounts or quantities <br />necessary to fully complete the work in strict compliance with the Contract Documents. <br /> <br />Execution of an Agreement with City shall constitute acceptance by the Bidder of existing site <br />conditions as a part of the requirements for this Scope of Work; it being expressly understood and <br />agreed that theBidder shall not be entitled to any additional compensation and/or fees for any <br />pre-existing conditions including, but not limited to, concealed or unknown conditions at the <br />Project site which may in any way affect the Scope of Work. Bidder has specifically examined the <br />Project site and affirms that it is fit to receive the Scope of Work. <br /> <br />2.5 CONTRACT TERM <br /> <br />The contract shall commence upon the date of the purchase order and shall remain in effect until <br />such time as the commodities, equipment, and/or services acquired in conjunction with this <br />Invitation to Bid, have been completed and accepted by the City's authorized representative. <br /> <br />The initial contract resulting from this solicitation shall be for a two (2) year period from the <br />contract’s initial effective date of August 1, 2025. Upon completion of the initial term, the contract <br />may renew for an additional one (3) year period, upon approval by the City Commission. <br /> <br />Prices quoted shall be fixed and firm for the initial contract term of three (3) years. Upon contract <br />renewal, the City may consider an adjustment to price based on changes in the following pricing <br />index: Consumer Price Index for Urban Wage Earners and Clerical Workers (CPI-W): Miami-Fort <br />Lauderdale, FL.
