The AP will be presented in case -study <br />format with supporting maps and table. The AP will also include a list of prioritized projects by the <br />CITY, for each asset class as defined in subsection 380.093(2), F.S., for consideration and <br />implementation. <br />Deliverables: CONSULTANT will provide the following: 1) draft Vulnerability Assessment Report <br />that includes the adaptation action plan and; 2) Maps and tabulation of hot -spot flooding areas <br />and associated adaptation strategies. <br />Task 5 Community Prioritization of Adaptation Needs <br />CONSULTANT will conduct a public meeting to develop a prioritization of adaptation needs for <br />the community. The Grantee will present the draft Adaptation Plan (AP) that includes the <br />following: assessment of adaptive capacities, adaptation needs, and identification of adaptation <br />strategies. The purpose of the meeting is to allow the public to provide community -specific input <br />on the identified adaptation needs and strategies as identified in the draft AP as well as an <br />opportunity to prioritize adaptation needs. The CITY will prepare all social media notifications, <br />meeting invitations. CONSULTANT will provide meeting materials, presentation, and graphics <br />utilized during the meeting, as applicable. <br />Deliverables: CONSULTANT will provide the following: 1) public presentation meeting agenda <br />and minutes and; 2) Meeting sign -in sheets with attendee names and affiliation and; 3) <br />presentation and materials created in preparation of or for distribution at the meeting and; 4) <br />memorandum to include attendee input and meeting outcomes. <br />Task 6 Final Adaptation Plan <br />CONSULTANT will incorporate any feedback from Task 5 and complete an AP that is consistent <br />with the Florida Adaptation Planning Guidebook. The AP will also include a list of prioritized <br />projects for each asset class as defined in subsection 380.093(2), Florida Statutes, for <br />consideration and implementation. CONSULTANT will work with CITY to integrate the adaptation <br />plan into the planning documents such as the CITY's stormwater master plan, capital <br />improvement plan, and the Local Mitigation Strategy (LMS). <br />The results of the Vulnerability Assessment can be used to inform a Local Mitigation Strategy <br />(LMS) as required by the Florida Department of Emergency Management (FDEM). The LMS is <br />usually developed at the County level and serves to reduce the risks associated with natural and <br />man-made disasters, including sea level rise. The CONSULTANT will work with the Local <br />Mitigation Strategy Working Group (LMSWG) to ensure the Vulnerability Assessment Report is <br />aligned with the existing county LMS Plan and will be utilized during the planning process of future <br />county LMS Plan updates. <br />Deliverables: CONSULTANT will provide the following: 1) final Adaptation Plan to the City for <br />review and submittal to FDEP and; 2) Memorandum explain how the Vulnerability Assessment is <br />aligned with the county LMS plan so it may be incorporated as a reference in updating the next <br />iteration of the LMS plan, i.e., utilized in the next five-year update. <br />Task 7 Public Outreach and Stakeholder Engagement <br />CONSULTANT will conduct public outreach meetings and stakeholder engagement for the <br />project. Project meetings will be conducted to ensure effective project execution, stakeholder <br />engagement, and compliance with grant requirements.
