trailers and construction site offices, are often classified as manufactured buildings under FEMA <br />guidelines. These structures, when placed within Special Flood Hazard Areas (SFHAs), pose similar flood <br />risks and therefore must comply with the same elevation requirements. <br />The revised ordinance will require that any new manufactured structures installed or replaced in SFHAs <br />be elevated to at least the Base Flood Elevation (BFE) plus one foot, as mandated by the updated CRS <br />Class S prerequisites. <br />This requirement will apply to all new permit applications involving manufactured structures submitted <br />after the ordinance is adopted on second reading.
