ORDINANCES FOR SECOND READING (Public Hearings) <br />9A. An Ordinance of the City Commission of the Cite of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. Amending <br />Ordinance No. 2013 -412; Amending the City's Budget No. BA1314 -06 for the 2013 -2014 <br />Fiscal Year — Capital Projects Fund, 20tO Capital Projects Fund, and 2011 Capital <br />Projects Fund: Authorizing the City Manager to Do All Things Necessary to Implement the <br />Terms and Conditions of this Ordinance: and Providing for an Effective Date. <br />(First Reading 09/]8/14) <br />Action: City Clerk Hines read the title, and Finance Director Audra Curts -Whann reported <br />that we made some reclassifications so that we could fully utilize the 2010 /2011 bonded <br />Capital Projects money and close those funds as of September 30. 2014. <br />Public Speakers: None <br />Vice Mavor Aelion moved and Commissioner Levin seconded a motion to adopt the <br />Ordinance on second reading. RESOLUTIONS <br />10A. A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach. Florida. Approving <br />a Lease Proposal with Chester's Harley- Davidson of Ft. Lauderdale for the Lease of <br />Three (3) Police Motorcycles, in a Total Lease Amount Not to Exceed 541.077.96 for a <br />Three (3) Year Period, Attached Hereto as Exhibit "A ": Authorizing the City Manager or <br />Designee to Execute Said Lease Proposal: Authorizing the City Manager to Do All Things <br />Necessary to Effectuate this Resolution: Providing for an Effective Date. <br />Action: City Clerk Hines read the title. and Captain Michael Grandinetti reported that we are <br />2oin2 to lease 3 motorcycles this year and doing a transition into purchasing our motorcycles <br />because after doing a cost analysis, we decided it is more cost effective to purchase them. <br />Currently we are doing the 2 -year lease and the motorcycles are still very valuable. We are <br />turning them back into Peterson's and they turn around and sell them for almost new. At the <br />end of this lease we may purchase all our motorcycles. <br />Public Speakers: None <br />Vice Mayor Aelion moved and Commissioner Scholl seconded a motion to approve the <br />resolution. Resolution No. 2014 -2307 was adopted by a voice vote of 5 -0 in favor. <br />lul <br />
