Work Authorization No. 171 <br />October 9, 2014 <br />Calvin, Giordano & Associates, Inc., Proposal No. 14- 7122.1 <br />II. Professional Construction Services <br />A. The below items are based on limited Construction Administration and <br />field observations / Resident Project Representative (RPR) services for the <br />emergency seawall repairs / demolition and replacement of portions of the <br />seawall(s) at the Intracoastal Park (Sunny Isles Beach). Any additional time <br />beyond the proposed will require Owner approval and acceptance from <br />both parties. <br />1. Perform limited / part-time field observations (anticipated to occur <br />daily unless advised otherwise by CLIENT) for compliance with <br />permit, plans and specifications (projected at a maximum of 275 <br />hours of Resident Project Representative time / effort). Perform <br />interim observations for substantial completion, and perform a final <br />walk through to determine, in general, if the work has been completed <br />in conformance with the intent of the Contract Documents <br />(emergency seawall repair plans). <br />2. Attend meetings with Contractor, CLIENT and appropriate regulatory <br />agencies when requested and necessary for consultation or <br />conferences in regards to construction of the project. <br />3. Assist CLIENT and Contractor with design related questions. Issue <br />interpretations and clarifications of the emergency repair plans <br />(Contract Documents), and evaluate requested deviations from the <br />approved design or specifications. In connection therewith, review. <br />prepare and process any work change directives or change orders <br />requested by the Contractor or CLIENT. <br />4. Review and process as- builts provided by the Contractor (two rounds <br />of as -built review are included). <br />5. Review and process closeout packages for the completion / <br />certification of construction (submittal fees are not included). <br />6. Review and process; prepare a recommendation of approval for the <br />Contractor's application for payment(s). <br />B. This proposal is for field observation, and above mentioned coordination <br />services only of on -site work for the repair / replacement of portions of <br />seawalls at Intracoastal Park located in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. <br />t3 <br />
