City of Sunny Isles Beach <br />18070 Collins Avenue <br />Sunny Isles Beach, Florida 33160 <br />(305) 947-0606 City Hall <br />(305) 949-3113 Fax <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Commissioners <br />VIA: Stan Morris, City Manager <br />FROM: Genesis Cuevas, Procurement Director <br />DATE: September 18, 2025 <br />RE: Requesting a Blanket Purchase Order with Home Depot for Fiscal Year 2025- <br />2026 <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends approval of this resolution. <br />REASONS: <br />The city is requesting a Home Depot a Blanket Purchase Order in an amount NTE $170,000, utilizing the <br />Omnia Partners Contract No. 16154 which expires 12/31/2026 to purchase maintenance, repair, <br />industrial and other operating supplies. OMNIA Partners is the largest and most trusted cooperative <br />purchasing organization for public sector procurement. As a member of Omnia, the City is able to <br />participate and utilize competitively solicited contracts to obtain the best goods/services and pricing <br />available in the market. <br />Some of the purchases made by City departments include, but are not limited to, paint supplies, lumber, <br />pressure washer equipment, screws, hooks, minor tools and equipment, blower, batteries, Bus Shelter <br />supplies, padlocks, repair and maintenance supplies for all facilities, generators. Supplies are also <br />purchased for special events such as Beach Cleanup, Boogie bythe Beach event supplies, Special Winter <br />Fest supplies, Egg Scramble, City Anniversary supplies, and other events, such as Family Movie Nights <br />events. <br />Item Number: 9.P <br />508 <br />
