Bidders that do not comply with MQRs may be determined non-responsive and disqualified. <br /> <br />4. Awarded Contractor will be required to maintain Minimum Qualification Requirement “a” and <br />“g” during the term of the Contract and any Contract renewals. <br /> <br />a. The Proposing Bidder shall hold the proper license in the State of Florida to perform the <br />Scope of Work set forth within this solicitation to include being registered as an Electrical <br />Contractor with the State of Florida, pursuant to the provisions of Section 489.511 of the <br />Florida Statutes (F.S.). Proposing Bidder must provide a copy of the applicable license(s) <br />with bid response. <br /> <br />b. The Proposing Bidder’s Journeyman Electrician must be certified as an International <br />Municipal Signal Association (IMSA) certified Traffic Signal Technician (TST) Level II or <br />Level III. All work related at or pertaining to the controller must be performed by an IMSA <br />certified TST Level II (Field). along with registration to conduct business in the State of <br />Florida in all required disciplines. Proposing Bidder must provide a copy of the applicable <br />license(s) with bid response. <br /> <br />c. The Proposing Bidder may submit certifications if they are prequalified by the Florida <br />Department of Transportation (FDOT) under Section 337.14, F.S. and Chapter 14-2, <br />Florida Administrative Code, to perform the work with FDOT Certificate(s) of <br />Qualification in the Traffic Signal Work Class and/or Certification of Work Underway. <br />Proposing Bidder may provide a copy of the applicable license(s) with bid response. <br /> <br />d. The Proposing Bidder must have been awarded Prime Contractor and successfully <br />performed three (3) projects of similar or greater size, scope, and complexity in Public <br />Right-of Way to the specifications of the ITB within the last five (5) years, preferably in <br />Florida. <br /> <br />e. The Proposing Bidder shall provide reference letters for no less than three (3) projects <br />in which Contractor served as Prime Contractor for projects similar in size and scope. <br />Please note that the references must be for the same projects in response to MQR “b” <br />above. <br /> <br />f. Provide documentation of Proposing Bidder’s total and single project bonding capacity <br />and the name and current financial rating (A.M. Best) of the surety company utilized by <br />your Firm. Provide documentation of your firm’s total and single project bonding capacity <br />and the name and current financial rating (A.M. Best) of the surety company utilized by <br />your firm. Proposing Bidders shall have a single project bonding capability of at least <br />Three Million Dollars ($100,000.00) with a surety company with an A.M. Best rating of <br />AA or better. <br /> <br />g. The Proposing Bidder shall provide a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total amount <br />of the bid will be required with your bid. <br />
