Kimley»> Horn ' Traffic Impact Analysis
INTERSECTION CAPACITY ANALYSIS
The study area intersection operating conditions were analyzed for three (3) scenarios (existing
conditions, future background conditions, and future total conditions) using Trafficware's
SYNCHRO software, which applies methodologies outlined in the Transportation Research Board's
(TRB's) Highway Capacity Manual (HCM) 2000/71h Editions. Synchro worksheets for the study
intersections are included in AppendixJ.
A summary of the intersection analyses for the A.M. and P.M. peak hours is presented in Table 3.
As Table 3 indicates, all study intersections are expected to operate at overall adopted level of
service (LOS) E+20% or better during the A.M. and P.M. peak hours under all analysis scenarios.
Table 3: Intersection Capacity Analysis Results
ID
Intersection
Traffic Control
Overall
I Approach LOS/Delay
I EB 1 WB NB SB
LOS/Delay
Existing Conditions (Future Background Conditions) [Future Total Conditions]
A.M. LOS is not defined.
(3) Approach does not exist.
(4) Intersection cannot be analyzed using HCM 71h Edition. Therefore, HCM 2000 was used instead.
K:\FTL_TTG\0N3800034- RDBH Su,,ylsles\Report\GtV&Sunny Isles Beach TIA 092025 Aces Page -20 September 2025 157
