Kimley>>> Horn Traffic Impact Analysis
ROADWAY SEGMENT ANALYSIS
In addition to the intersection capacity analyses, roadway segment capacity conditions were
analyzed for three (3) scenarios (existing conditions, future background conditions, and future
total conditions) for the adjacent roadway segment along SR A1A/Collins Avenue between SR
856/William Lehman Causeway and SR 826/NE 163rd Street. Roadway segment capacities were
calculated based on FDOT's latest 2023 Multimodal Quality/Level of Service Handbook. FDOT 2023
Multimodal Quality/Level of Service Handbook excerpts are contained in Appendix K.
ROADWAY CAPACITY ANALYSIS
Tables 4, 5, and 6 provide a summary of the A.M. and P.M. peak hour roadway segment analysis
for existing, future background, and future total conditions, respectively, utilizing FDOT's latest
2023 Multimodal Quality/Level of Service Handbook. The results indicate that the study roadway
segment is expected to operate at LOS D or better under all analysis conditions during the A.M.
and P.M. peak hours.
K:\FTL— TO\044WWN-RDBH S—ylsles\Report\Oty of Sunny Isles Beach nA092025.docx Page-21 September 202S 158
