Proposal to Furnish Professional Services <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach — Gov't. Center <br />Exterior Renovations <br />Architect's Project No. 2607 <br />Page Two <br />different material for the City's review and approval. This work will include the removal of the existing stainless steel <br />roof coping so that the new roofing installed under a separate project, can be properly flashed at the parapets. <br />Existing Fountain: <br />The existing fountain will be drained and the marcite waterproofing will be investigated for repairs or replacement <br />with new. The existing electrical (lights, jets, wiring, etc.) will be removed and replaced with Code -compliant devices. <br />The fountain walls will be dressed in either a tile or a troweled coating. <br />The sub -consultants will be as follows: <br />Structural Engineers: DDA Engineers, P.A. <br />Mechanical, Plumbing and Electrical Engineers: SDM Engineers, Inc. <br />SECTION 3 - BASIC SERVICES (per continuing contract agreement): <br />Phase II — Preliminary Design Services <br />• Includes two design review meetings with Staff to review two options. <br />Phase III - Construction Documents Services <br />• Includes construction cost estimate. <br />Phase IV - Bidding and Permitting Services <br />• Includes (1) bid opening meeting <br />Phase V - Construction Administration Services <br />• Includes regularly scheduled bi-weekly Owner/Arch itect/Contractor meetings for a period of 9 months. <br />_Included in Basic Fee: <br />• 3D renderings of (2) options. Max. 2 images per option. <br />Not included in Basic Fee: <br />• Testing of existing concrete foundations for adequacy of use; <br />• Site Design (surveying, civil and landscaping design). <br />SECTION 4 — PRELIMINARY ESTIMATE based on initial site information: <br />$700,000.00 +/- <br />SECTION 6 - PROPOSED SCHEDULE: <br />Complete Project Schedule: <br />• Field Investigation and one meeting with stakeholders for concept input — 2 weeks <br />• PH. II — Prelim. Design Services, 100% — 4 weeks <br />Pause for City Commission review and approval dependent on Commission meeting schedule — <br />4 weeks. <br />• PH. III- Construction Documents, 100% —10 weeks <br />• PH. IV- Bidding and Permitting — 6 to 10 weeks <br />• PH.
