1 <br />ADDENDUM # 3 <br />QUESTIONS & ANSWERS <br />DATE: MAY 7, 2026 <br />TO: ALL PLANHOLDERS <br />FROM: PURCHASING DIRECTOR <br />RFP NO.: RFP 26-04-01 CITYWIDE HOLIDAY LIGHTING AND DECORATING SERVICES <br />SUBJECT: ADDENDUM NO. 3 <br />PLEASE NOTE RECEIPT OF THIS ADDENDUM BY COMPLETING ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF <br />ADDENDA’ WITH YOUR PROPOSAL’S SUBMISSION. <br />Q1. To ensure our proposal aligns with the City’s budget expectations, could you please confirm <br />whether the $200,000–$250,000 budget is intended to cover the full program (Groups 1, 2, and <br />3), or if it applies only to the mandatory Group 1 s cope? Also, should any additional or <br />enhanced elements be i ncluded within that budget, or should they be presented as optional <br />add-ons? <br />A1. Budget is intended to include Group 1 at minimum, the proposer has the option to <br />include scope within their bid for Groups 2 and 3 within this budget. <br />Q2. Additionally, the specification notes “multi-color.” Can you please confirm if this is the <br />intended direction, or if warm white/pure white (as used in previous years) is still preferred? <br />A2. The selected Contractor shall provide holiday lighting in neutral, non-holiday specific <br />colors. <br />Q3. Is the City seeking a signature or centerpiece installation (e.g., interactive tree, landmark <br />feature), and if so, what locations would these be desired and how will that be evaluated? <br />A3. The holiday décor design must be submitted by the proposer for the City’s evaluation. <br />Q4. Should the base budget prioritize: <br />● Collins Avenue only, or <br />● Both Collins Avenue and park installations collectively? <br />A4. Budget is intended to include Group 1 at minimum, the proposer has the option to <br />include scope within their bid for Groups 2 and 3 within this budget. <br />AS-5-7-26
