Based on the criteria on page 29 of the RFP, the committee evaluated and deemed that Disaster <br />Program & Operations was qualified for recommendation of award. <br />Following the 2023 Resolution #2023-3515, the awarded contract is set to expire on June 22, 2026. The <br />contract includes one (1) available two-year renewal option. Through this agenda item, staff is <br />presenting the two-year renewal for your consideration. All pricing, terms, and conditions of the original <br />contracts will remain in effect for the renewal period through June 23, 2028. <br />ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: <br />Pursuant to the Code of Ordinance § 62-6(d), all purchases of and contracts for equipment, supplies and <br />contractual services, when the estimated cost shall exceed $50,000.00 shall be based on competitive <br />bids. <br />A complete copy of the contract file, including all exhibits and attachments, is on file with the Office of <br />the City Clerk and is available upon request. <br />FUNDING SOURCE: <br />Upon declaration of a state of emergency by either the County, State, or Federal government, all costs <br />associated with this contract will be reimbursed to the City, if approved by the Federal agency. Per <br />FEMA, eligible costs are expenses tied directly to eligible work, and must be adequately documented, <br />authorized, necessary and reasonable.
