FOURTH AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
<br />THIS FOURTH AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT between the CITY OF SUNNY
<br />ISLES BEACH (hereinafter "City") and UNIVERSAL PROTECTION SERVICE, LLC, d/b/a
<br />ALLIED UNIVERSAL SECURITY SERVICES, LLC, whose Federal Employer Identification
<br />(FEI) No. is 56-0515447 (hereinafter "Contractor"), executed this *7,&%ay of June 2026, is made a
<br />part of the original Agreement between the City and Contractor, approved by the City Commission on
<br />September 14, 2021, and as amended on June 2, 2022, June 28, 2024, and June 11, 2025 (hereinafter
<br />collectively "the Agreement"), attached hereto as Exhibit "l." The City and Contractor hereby agree
<br />as follows:
<br />1. OPTION TO RENEW. Effective July 1, 2026, the City hereby elects to exercise its
<br />option to renew the Agreement for one (1) year, as set forth in Section 4 of the original Agreement,
<br />as amended. There are no remaining renewal terms.
<br />2. ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION. City and Contractor also wish to amend Section 5
<br />of the Agreement, entitled "Compensation," to provide additional compensation for the one (1)
<br />year renewal term, in an amount not to exceed Two Hundred Sixty -One Thousand Dollars and No
<br />Cents ($261,000.00), based upon the following hourly rates:

<br />The additional compensation provided herein will bring the total Agreement not -to -exceed amount
<br />to One Million Two Hundred Eighty -Four Thousand Five Hundred Thirty -Two Dollars and
<br />Sixteen Cents ($1,284,532.16).
<br />3. BACKGROUND CHECKS. City and Contractor also wish to amend the Agreement by
<br />adding Section 24, entitled `Background Checks," as follows:
<br />24. BACKGROUND CHECKS. By executing this Agreement, Contractor herein
<br />certifies and attests under penalty of perjury that prior to the commencement of any
<br />Services or Work, all managers and employees of Contractor, subcontractors, and any hired
<br />workers or independent contractors (hereinafter collectively "Personnel"), providing the
<br />Services, performing the Work, or having access to any City buildings, facilities, property,
<br />and/or parks pursuant to the Agreement have undergone and passed a criminal background
<br />check consisting of a Florida Department of Law Enforcement ("FDLE") and Florida
<br />Crime Information Center/National Crime Information Center ("FCIC/NCIC") criminal
<br />records check. Any Personnel not meeting this requirement will not be permitted to provide
<br />any Services, perform any Work, or have access to any City, buildings, facilities, property,
<br />and/or parks; pursuant to this Agreement. Contractor shall also maintain records of the
<br />criminal history checks for all Personnel that provided Services, performed Work, or had
<br />access to any City buildings, facilities, property, and/or parks pursuant to this Agreement,
<br />for the duration of Term of this Agreement and for one year thereafter and shall make such
<br />records available for inspection and verification by City. Contractor acknowledges that it
<br />has an ongoing obligation to perform updated background checks on all Personnel, and to
