No <br />guarantee is expressed or implied as to the total services contracted under this RFQ. Pre- <br />qualification award does not guarantee any future project to be awarded. <br /> <br />In the event a Consultant is selected for a specific project, the selected Consultant will be required <br />to negotiate and execute a Contract with the City, which may require City Commission approval <br />by Resolution. Consultants have the option to qualify for one or more disciplines. After award of <br />Contract as each project is identified, the awarded Consultant within the required discipline(s) <br />will be requested to submit cost. <br /> <br />Proposers will be evaluated by relevant experience, preferably with government agencies, <br />successful past performance, no conflicts of interest, and whose proposal best serves the interest <br />of and represents the best value to the City in conformity with the criteria set forth herein. <br />Selection shall be by the evaluation Committee selected by the City. <br /> <br />The City Manager may also reject all proposals received. Section 62-8 of the City Code provides <br />that the City may consider the following: <br /> <br />• The ability, capacity and skill of the Consultant to perform the Contract. <br />• The character, integrity, reputation, judgment, experience and efficiency of the <br />Consultant. <br />• The quality of performance of previous contracts with the City and references. <br />• The previous and existing compliance by the Consultant with laws and ordinances relating <br />to the Contract. <br /> <br />The City reserves the right to select awarded Consultant(s) within their discipline based on the <br />following: <br />• Rotational (Rotating the use of each Consultant within its discipline). <br />• City sole discretion. The City may select any Consultant within its discipline that it <br />deems to be in the best interest to the City and most qualified for the project. <br /> <br />2.9 BID BOND AND PERFORMANCE BOND <br /> <br />Intentionally Omitted <br /> <br />2.10 INSURANCE <br /> <br />The Consultant shall provide the City with Certificates of Insurance on all the policies of insurance <br />and renewals thereof in form acceptable to the City. All policies shall provide that the City shall <br />be notified in writing of any cancellation of said policy at least thirty days prior to the effective <br />date of said cancellation. <br /> <br />2.10.1 Comprehensive General Liability Insurance
