<br /> RFQ # 26-07-01 CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING CONSULTING <br />SERVICES (CCNA) <br /> Page 19 <br /> <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH <br />18070 Collins Ave. | Sunny Isles Beach, FL 33160 <br />305.792.1707 | sibfl.net | Purchasing@sibfl.net <br /> SECTION 3 <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES / TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS <br /> <br />3.1 SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />A “continuing contract” is a contract for professional services entered into in accordance with all the <br />procedures of the CCNA between an agency and a Consultant whereby the Consultant provides <br />professional services to the agency for projects in which the estimated construction cost of each individual <br />project under the contract does not exceed $7.5 million, and for a study activity if the fee for each <br />individual study under the contract does not exceed $500,000. Beginning July 1, 2025, and each July 1 <br />thereafter, the department shall adjust the maximum amount allowed on the preceding June 30 for each <br />individual project in a continuing contract by using the change in the June-to-June Consumer Price Index <br />for All Urban Consumers issued by the Bureau of Labor Statistics of the United States Department of Labor. <br /> <br />Award of a consultant does not guarantee any future work to be awarded. Services may be required for a <br />full range of municipal projects including the acquisition, operation or improvement of City lands, <br />buildings, facilities, utilities and roads, building and structural evaluations to determine building capacity, <br />development options or other related services, conceptual preforms and development analysis, re-use or <br />alternative use analysis on existing buildings, project design, design drawings and cost estimates, project <br />scope development for formally solicitations and other contractual services, permitting and planning <br />assistance. <br /> <br />Consultants may utilize subconsultants to complete tasks under the Contract with the approval of the City. <br />When submitting for disciplines, the City will only receive qualifications from the prime Consultant. The <br />City will review and evaluate any information the prime Consultant submits to display the capability and <br />experience to perform the services in the select(ed) discipline. <br /> <br />3.2 DISCIPLINE CATEGORIES: <br /> <br />The disciplines and groupings listed herein are not all-inclusive of all the services that may be <br />required by the City during the term of this contract. Response to this Request for Qualifications <br />shall indicate each category for which the Proposer wishes to be considered: <br /> <br />1. ARCHITECTS – Services shall include, but shall not be limited to: <br /> <br />• Study phase, design, plan review, cost estimating, interior design, landscape design, space <br />planning and constructions phase services for miscellaneous renovations, additions, and new <br />construction projects. <br />• Provide complete construction drawings and specifications for buildings, building additions, <br />renovations, and other Projects. <br />• Provide inspections and plan reviews. <br />• Provide feasibility study, planning. <br />• Prepare Preliminary cost estimate. <br />• Prepare construction solicitation documents. <br />• Prepare construction cost estimates. <br />• Provide construction administration if requested by City.
