<br /> RFQ # 26-07-01 CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING CONSULTING <br />SERVICES (CCNA) <br /> Page 26 <br /> <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH <br />18070 Collins Ave. | Sunny Isles Beach, FL 33160 <br />305.792.1707 | sibfl.net | Purchasing@sibfl.net <br /> <br />Consultant will be required to commit that the personnel and/or principals named in the proposal <br />shall remain assigned to the project throughout the period of the contract unless provided for <br />otherwise in a negotiated contract. No diversion or substitution of personnel or principals will be <br />allowed without submission of a written request with the qualifications and experience of the <br />proposed replacement. <br /> <br />3.4 GENERAL DELIVERBLES FOR CITY PROJECTS: <br /> <br />General Deliverables, include but are not limited to: <br /> <br />a. Survey of parcels. <br />b. Provide a design schedule. <br />c. Progress reviews shall be required at the 30%, 60%, 90% and 100% design stage for <br />evaluation and approval by City staff. During schematic design and design development, but <br />prior to construction design phase, the Consultant will receive input from City staff. <br />d. Provide construction cost estimates per phase. <br />e. Provide for all aspects of design including but not limited to coordination of all utilities, <br />structural, mechanical, electrical, civil, landscape, plumbing, interior design, site design, and <br />permits as required. <br />f. Provide full construction plans, specifications and bid sheets. <br />g. Complete permitting services thru Miami-Dade County and the City. <br />h. Construction administration for all disciplines <br />i. Participate in weekly/bi-weekly meetings with City staff and possibly Commission. <br />j. Consultant should plan to provide energy efficient solutions and enhancements for the <br />City’s consideration. <br />k. Act as the Architect/Engineer of Record, respond to all Requests for Information during <br />construction, ensure the quality of Record Drawings at the end of the construction project. <br />l. Provide a complete set of revised drawings at the end of the construction project including <br />all changes from bid set as applicable. <br /> <br />The Consultant shall be responsible for the following, including but not limited to (as applicable): <br /> <br />PHASE 1: STUDY AND REPORT <br /> <br />Identify and analyze requirements of governmental authorities having jurisdiction to approve <br />portions of the Project. Evaluate various alternate solutions available to the City if described in <br />the Request for Quotation. After consultation with the City, recommend to City those solutions <br />which, in Consultant’s professional judgment, best meet City’s requirements for the Project. <br /> <br />Once agreement is in place, prepare a Report. This Report will be accompanied by Consultant’s <br />estimate of Total Project Cost for each solution which is recommended for the Project, itemized <br />as follows: estimate of Total Construction Cost, allowances for contingencies, total cost of services <br />provided by Consultant, and allowances for other items and services included within the definition <br />of Total Project Costs and identified by the City. Furnish the Report to and review it with the City.
