BA is providing architecture, landscape architecture, and planning services <br />for the development of a new community center located adjacent to the <br />existing Sullivan Park. The center is elevated on a pedestal whereby the site <br />is maximized to allow for ground floor surface parking and approximately <br />2,000 square feet of office space. A grand stair and elevator take users <br />to the second level, where they are met with a grand open terrace with <br />unobstructed views to the intracoastal and the main entrance to the facility. <br />The community center is further enhanced with an added program that <br />allows for an approximately 1,400-square-foot “flex space” to be used by <br />the community for any private events. Both the community center and flex <br />space are connected by a covered patio where both areas can become <br />one if needed. The architectural style is emblematic of Deerfield Beach and <br />blends with the existing Sullivan Park architecture. Each program volume <br />was strategically placed on the second level and is inherently connected <br />by a roofline with a geometric design as well as a modern play on materials <br />and textures of Hardie board and wood veneer paneling.
