Betalleluz, Licensed Professional Engineer is the Project Manager and Lead Civil <br />Engineer of Record on this Project. With over 20 years of professional experience working <br />throughout the entire state Florida, including some of related professional specialties applicable to <br />this project: Municipal Projects and Large-Scale Utility Rehabilitation, Watermain Rehabilitations <br />and Watermain Extensions (Project Manager and / or Civil Engineer of Record), This List make him <br />an expert in Project Management and engineering design for each specific aspect that is needed for <br />this project. <br />• Amongst the Types of Projects Specifically Related to similar geographic and other possible <br />Municipal Projects (Listed in his Resume Section) Scope include: <br /> <br />o Broward County School –Major Watermain Rehabilitation and Waterline Upgrade Projects in <br />4 Public Schools from a Range of 1,000 LF to 10,000LF around the entire school campus in <br />order to provide sufficient Fire Flow and Pressure to all school buildings providing fire <br />protection to old buildings previously without fire sprinkler systems. <br />o Miami Beach Bay Road Drainage Improvements (Including Deep Injection Well System) – <br />Roadway Drainage Project providing drainage improvements to Bay Road which covers <br />approximately 8 City Blocks of Right-of-Way Pressurized drainage system along with a large <br />pump station. <br />o City of Hollywood’s Design-Build I-95 Pump Station Project – This took into account complex <br />drainage modeling and over 2.5 miles of pressurized drainage pipe line improvements and a <br />pump station building. Mr. Betalleluz was heavily involved with the Cost Estimates, Take- <br />Offs, and Construction oversight of this project which provided over 30 square miles of <br />drainage relief in South Brorward and North Dade County <br />o Starwoods Tribute/Element Luxury Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale which required a 1,000 LF 8” <br />watermain extension across a large length of NE 3rd Street up to North Federal Highway, an <br />FDOT Road. <br />o Miami-Dade County Transit Busway Improvements (over 12 Cities including North Miami <br />Beach) <br />o Miami – Dade County Youth Fair SSES Sewer Certification – Study, Rehabilitation and <br />Certification of over 5 miles of gravity and pressurized sanitary sewer system serving this 88 <br />Acre park facility. <br />o Grove Isle Sewer SSES Sewer Certification – Study, Rehabilitation and Certification of over <br />3 miles of gravity and pressurized sanitary sewer system serving a private island with a <br />residential and hotel complex. <br />• Over 20 Fully LEED Certified Projects including High End Hotels, Government Buildings, and <br />Parks. (See Resume Description for All LEED Certified Projects.) <br />• Additionally, over 50% of projects that Mr. Betalleluz has been involved throughout his career have <br />had Architects, Landscape Architects, Surveyors, MEPs, Structural Engineers and Other Design <br />Professionals, showing a proven track record in coordinating with a Design Team and the Client for <br />successful completions of projects. <br />• Mr. Betalleluz has worked with Florida Fish and Wildlife in a 2,800 Acre Drainage Preservation <br />Study, In Puerto Rico with the USCAE in a Mangrove Habitat Restoration Project, as well as the <br />City of Miami Beach and City of Gainesville, FL in Historic Building Restoration and/or Preservation <br />Projects. <br />• Mr. Betalleluz himself had his collegiate education at the University of Florida Top Engineering <br />School in the State and 35-year Resident throughout the Entire State of Florida and practicing <br />engineering experience throughout the state of Florida in similar or identical projects brings him <br />experience in design and jurisdictional knowledge. <br />21 The BetaJones Group/RFQ#26-07-01
