BetaJones Engineers bring the experience to <br />know, and/or find out immediately, the entire development process and break it down to each individual task <br />and hours that the project will most likely take. Additionally, BetaJones Engineers will be able to identify <br />project unknowns or potential paths by detailed research and coordination at the very beginning of the <br />project, to keep the client posted with any potential obstacles and minimize any surprises. The BetaJones <br />Group offices are within 20 minutes traveling time to the City of Sunny Isles Beach and plans to be efficient <br />in deciding whether a meeting or phone conference needs to take place but will NEVER sacrifice the quality <br />of the project by doing so. The BetaJones pledges to meet with the city, AS NECESSARY, to complete the <br />project on time and with the utmost quality. We are also willing to have permanent staff in the City Hall or <br />nearby if required or deemed required for a quality outcome to the assigned project(s) responsibility. <br /> <br />With years of professional experience working throughout the entire State of Florida, including related <br />professional specialties applicable to Continuing Service Municipal projects throughout Broward County and <br />Miami-Dade County, permitted through the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, FDEP, FDOT, <br />SFWMD, and other respective Agencies and Municipalities, our Civil Engineering Licensed Professional <br />Engineers, and Staff bring solid and proven experience applicable to Municipal Engineering Utility <br />Improvement Solutions. <br /> <br />Below is a GENERAL APPROACH to successfully bring A Generic Municipal Project from Conceptual Stage <br />to Construction. The General Project Approach shows Design Team as well as Municipal Staff Support <br />Anticipated for this Project: <br /> <br />1. FEASIBLITY STUDY - SITE RESEARCH AND INVESTIGATION <br />o Design Team will coordinate with the City Management Team and review As-Built Plans of <br />Site, Underground Utilities and Adjacent Structures. <br />o Design Team will review Building Code, Zoning, Engineering, and landscape regulations to <br />identify required code and any possible obstacles. <br />o Design Team will conduct a full site visit to study and perform the walkthrough portion of the <br />Study to identify and measure any Compliance Issues. <br /> <br />2. TOPOGRAHICAL AND LOCATION SURVEYS <br />o Surveyor shall conduct the necessary surveys (Location, Tree, Topographical) in order to <br />prepare a base background for the Design Drawings and to identify existing longitudinal and <br />cross slopes throughout the project. <br /> <br />3. GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING STUDY <br />o Geotechnical Engineer shall conduct the necessary Soils Studies to identify and recommend <br />Pavement and Utility Parameters. <br /> <br />4. FEASIBLITY REPORT COMPLETION, PRESENTATION AND DESIGN OUTLOOK WITH <br />OWNERS <br />o Design Team will complete Study and prepare a presentation of Improvement requirements <br />and optional recommendations to the Client. <br />60 The BetaJones Group/RFQ#26-07-01
