THE BETAJONES GROUP, INC. <br />EXPEDITING DEVELOPMENT <br />Page 3 of 5 <br />8/11/2026 <br />14.CONSTRUCTION PROCESS, PROJECT CLOSEOUT, & FINAL PROJECT CERTIFICATION <br />o Once the Construction Team is selected, the Design Team will hold a Pre-Construction <br />Meeting with the Client and Construction Team to discuss Client Goals and Construction <br />Procedures specifically of importance to the Client such as: Traffic and Pedestrian Flow <br />Operations, Construction Team Staging, MOT, Noise and Dust Control, Construction <br />Schedule, Equipment Storage, Security, etc. <br />o The Architect and Engineers of Record shall review and approve payment schedules prior to <br />the Client releasing payments to the Contractor <br />o The Design Team will work with the Client and Construction Team and attend Pre- <br />Construction Meetings, as necessary, with Jurisdictional Agencies and Inspectors requiring <br />such meetings. <br />o The Design Team will review and process, as necessary, all construction shop drawings and <br />Contractor RFIs (Request for Additional Information) for materials to be ordered, <br />accordingly, and any clarifications questions answered. <br />o Any Finishes on the project still left to be determined will be coordinated between the Client, <br />Design and Construction Teams. <br />o The Design Team Shall conduct onsite inspections, review testing, and maintain <br />coordination with the Contractor on all As-built Requirements to be reviewed and approved <br />prior to certification. <br />o The Design Team shall assist the Contractor with the Permit Close-out with the required <br />Jurisdictional Agencies. <br />o At the End of Construction, the Design team will conduct a final review of the Asbuilt Survey <br />and Site Work and provide a checklist in coordination with the Client to the Contractor of any <br />remaining close out items. <br />o Once the Permit has been closed and final Punch list items have been completed, the <br />Project Manager will provide all certification letters and obtain and releases from the <br />Contractor for the owners to proceed with operating the newly built project. <br />SCHEDULE CONTROL, COST CONTROL, AND QUALITY CONTROL <br />The BetaJones Group, Inc. team’s philosophy “level of technical excellence, practical experience and client <br />responsiveness” includes the following 3 key Tasks in every project: <br />1.SCHEDULE CONTROL <br />o Large Projects such Everglades Restoration Project, Tropical Memorial Park Track and Field <br />Stadium, West (End) Kendall District Regional Park, Miami-Dade Transit, and All Miami <br />Dade Aviation Airport Projects were successfully completed via a Controlled Schedule done <br />in professional Scheduling Software. An analysis of the Critical Path Method and Tight <br />Contract Control along with Agency Follow Ups allowed for these projects to be finalized <br />within the Project Time Period. <br />2.COST CONTROL <br />o Many of our Large Projects such as Tropical Memorial Park Track and Field Stadium, West <br />(End) Kendall District Regional Park, Miami-Dade Transit, and All Miami Dade Aviation <br />Airport Projects were successfully completed on budget by providing Cost Estimates <br />throughout the Design Process, along with Value Engineering and Constant Coordination <br />with the Client. This allowed all of our projects to come be completed within the full Project’s <br />budget and allowed our clients to save thousands of dollars and in some cases, hundreds of <br />thousands of dollars in construction costs. <br />62 The BetaJones Group/RFQ#26-07-01
