Proactive Management of Potential Delays CAP's approach is based on early identification and proactive resolution of schedule risks. The Project Manager will continuously evaluate factors that could affect timely completion, including incomplete information, unforeseen existing conditions, coordination requirements, permitting issues, third-party responses, scope changes, staffing requirements, and revisions resulting from Client comments. When a potential delay is identified, CAP will not wait until the scheduled completion date approaches to address it. The Project Manager will evaluate the issue immediately, determine its potential impact, develop corrective measures, and communicate significant schedule concerns to the City's Project Manager as soon as practical. If necessary, CAP will revise the internal work plan, increase staffing, resequence activities, or implement other appropriate measures to maintain the established completion date. Final Deliverable and Closeout As the project approaches completion, the Project Manager will verify that all required deliverables have been completed and that outstanding comments, coordination items, and quality control issues have been addressed. CAP will allow sufficient time for final document review, production, and transmission so that the final submission is delivered on or before the date established by the City. Following delivery, CAP will confirm receipt of the final deliverables and address any immediate questions or corrections identified by the City. Project records, calculations, correspondence, and other required documentation will be organized and maintained in accordance with CAP's project management and quality control procedures. Commitment to Schedule Performance CAP's work plan is built around a simple principle: establish the schedule early, assign responsibility clearly, monitor progress continuously, and address potential problems before they affect the City's deadline. Through dedicated project management, appropriate resource allocation, milestone tracking, internal coordination, quality control, and proactive communication with the City, CAP will make every reasonable effort to ensure that each assignment is completed on time and in accordance with the City's requirements. CAP's Project Manager will maintain overall responsibility for schedule performance and will serve as the primary point of accountability for ensuring that the project team remains focused on the established objectives, milestones, and completion dates. This structured and proactive approach will allow CAP to respond effectively to changing project conditions while maintaining the City's required schedule and the professional quality of all engineering services and deliverables.
