JAIME ARBELAEZ, PE, GISP <br />,76*,663(&,$/,ST <br />FDOT D4, DW Highway Statistics Data Collection & Analysis, In-House Support |This contract involved providing <br />professional and technical services in collecting and analyzing highway and traffic data, as well as serving as an extension of <br />staff to the D4 Planning and Environmental Management (PL&EM) Office, especially the Transportation Statistics (TranStat) <br />Staff. Jaime worked as in-house support, providing RCI/TCI data collection, data reporting, mapping applications, and data <br />analysis, as mandated by Federal and State regulations and policies. In addition, tasks included collecting and analyzing <br />customer trip characteristics, travel behavior, demographic characteristics, and operational and performance measures from <br />the public transit systems to support travel demand modeling, long-range, area-wide, route planning and scheduling, service <br />design, marketing, and customer communications. <br />FDOT D4, DW Statistics Data Collection & Analysis, In-House Support | Jaime worked as In-House support for D4’s TCI <br />Department and developed a TMS for the District. The TMS application automates all the tasks related to traffic data collection <br />in D4, such as task work orders, count checks, tracking systems, historical comments, and site maintenance. The TMS <br />application also interacts with GIS ArcView and Google Earth through a VB.net interface. <br />FDOT D4, DW Traffic Data Collection & Analysis (2 Contracts), RCI Support |Under this contract, FRA provided quality <br />assurance/ quality control of the RCI data collection from other consultants. FRA updated the D4 ATLAS, which involved the <br />switching of dependents on shape files to use access data tables for future automation. Jaime worked as in-house support for <br />the TCI Department and was involved in the management of the District’s GIS database for the Statistics Department. His <br />responsibilities included maintenance and coordination between the Central Office, D4 GIS, and D4 Statistics GIS activities. He <br />also managed the preparation and organization of D4’s4 2006 ATLAS. <br />FDOT D6, Permanent Traffic Monitoring Sites Design & Implementation, GIS/RCI Support (2 Contracts) |Jaime provided <br />periodic GIS/RCI support under thiscontract. The overall project involved the production ofdesign plans for the PTMS that were <br />to be incorporated into existing roadway resurfacing or construction projects; inspection/acceptance of newly constructed <br />PTMS/RTMS sites, and routine inspection. Additional services included producing the District’s Annual Pavement Condition. <br />Report in support of the 5-Year Work Program and other planning, engineering, and GIS statistics services. <br />FDOT Central Office, Statewide Railroad Highway Crossing Inventory (RHCI), RCI Support |Jaime provided database <br />and location map support for this contract. FRA’s responsibilities under this contract were to develop, update, and maintain the <br />RHCI database and related sources, including documents and tools used by the Central Office, the Federal Highway. <br />Administration, the Federal Railroad Administration, local governments, and several railroad companies. FRA ensured the data <br />contained in the Department’s RHCI database was complete and accurate. In doing so, our team performed office and field <br />activities for all Highway/Railroad Crossings statewide. This included photo documentation, GPS coordinate verification, and/ <br />or correction, equipment inventory at all locations, and data maintenance.
