His experience <br />encompasses all types of public and private infrastructure, ranging from airports, transit, <br />roadway/highway systems, to medical, residential, industrial and municipal facilities. Mr. <br />Valle’s vast experience in the engineering and construction industries, uniquely qualifies him <br />to assist both private and public clients reach their projects goals. The following are relevant <br />continuing engineering contracts that Mr. Valle has worked on while being employed by <br />previous consulting engineering firms as well as with ACE: <br />40- & 50-Year Structural Recertification for various public and private facilities. Mr. <br />Valle was the Engineer of Record for the recertification of various building facility, <br />responsible for the visual observations and preparation of the required structural recertification <br />reports per Miami-Dade and State of Florida Requirements. The facilities include: <br />• City of West Miami -50-year Structural Recertification of City Hall <br />• City of Sweetwater - 40-year Structural Recertification of City Hall, Passport <br />Building and Senior Center <br />• Miami-Dade County - 40-year Structural Recertification of Vehicle Maintenance <br />Facility & Administration Offices <br />• LSG Sky Chefs - 50-year Structural Recertification of Food Preparation Facility <br /> <br />City of Ft Lauderdale - Structural Constructability Review of Johnson St Bridge <br />Replacement over C-10 Canal Mr. Valle was the lead structural engineer conducting a <br />construability review of the designs prepared for the replacement of the Johnson St Bridge. <br />The project entails the replacement of both a vehicular and separate pedestrian bridges, with a <br />new single bridge accommodating 3 vehicular lanes, as well as two shared used paths <br />(pedestrian and bicycles) on both sides and a utility strip. The new structure will have a span <br />of 66 ft and an overall width of 61 ft, with a reinforced flat slab superstructure that will be <br />constructed in phases to ensure that traffic is maintained during the construction of the new <br />bridge. <br />Broward County Public Schools - Structural Assessment of Barrington Irving's <br />Pedestrian Bridge at Park Elementary School Mr. Valle was the Engineer of Record for the <br />structural assessment of the existing pedestrian bridge. The bridge is used daily by school <br />children to access the Vincent Torres Memorial Park which is located on the other side of <br />Middel River Canal. The existing bridge structure is a simple span, pre-manufactured steel <br />truss with a span of 110 ft by 10 ft wide and was built in 2007. Over the years, the bridge has <br />developed corrosion on several of its structural members, and an in-depth structural <br />assessment was performed. The assessment included visual inspection of all structural <br />members, non-destructive testing of elements identified during the inspection and a structural <br />analysis of the existing condition of the bridge based on the field investigation performed. The <br />final deliverable included a report that summarized the field investigation, the structural <br />analysis of the as-is condition and recommendations with associated cost estimates for the <br />repair/rehabilitation of the bridge. <br />Aircraft Hangar Structural Repairs Miami Air International at Miami International <br />Airport, Miami, FL. Project Manager and Structural Engineer of Record for the structural <br />repairs implemented at MIA Bldg. 871 located at Miami International Airport. The structural <br />repairs involved the reinforcing of 3 existing steel columns that had experienced advanced <br />corrosion damage. Project included initial assessment, design of repairs, permitting, bidding and <br />inspections during construction. <br />
