RFQ # 26-07-01 | CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH 40 <br />CES CONSULTANTS, INC. <br />Task orders include the following: <br />Flagler Sewer Replacement: The City of Homestead tasked CES with the development of a design <br />and the permitting for the replacement of 3,400 LF of 8-inch sanitary sewer with a 24-inch sanitary <br />sewer main and a new approximately 3,400 LF 8-inch water main along Flagler Avenue from <br />Krome Avenue to Campbell Drive. The purpose of the replacement is due to bad condition and to <br />increase capacity of the line for future development. The scope of work includes topographic survey; <br />geotechnical report; development of engineering plans (60% and 90%); preparation of contract and <br />bid document (plans and specifications); permitting; procurement assistance; Opinion of Probable <br />Construction Cost (OPCC) and schedule development; and Engineering Services During Construction. <br />Water & Sewer Infrastructure Master Planning: CES provided comprehensive master planning <br />services for the City of Homestead’s water and wastewater infrastructure with an aim to evaluate <br />system capacity, identify the impacts of future developments, and streamline connection requests. <br />Scope of work included data collection and system analysis, vulnerability assessments to identify <br />critical infrastructure risks, and capital improvement planning (CIP) to prioritize system upgrades. <br />CES analyzed existing and future water distribution and wastewater collection systems, assessed <br />lift stations and pump stations, evaluated interconnections, and developed system performance <br />criteria. Deliverables included a prioritized CIP with phased recommendations, cost estimates, and <br />a comprehensive Water and Wastewater Master Plan Report, incorporating findings, models, and <br />strategic planning for long-term system improvements.
