RFQ # 26-07-01 | CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH 81 <br />CES CONSULTANTS, INC. <br />LOCATION <br />Hollywood, FL <br />OWNER <br />City of Hollywood <br />COST <br />Liberty Street: $1.1M <br />COMPLETION <br />Multiple; Contract: 2021–Ongoing <br />ROLE <br />Prime <br />KEY FEATURES <br />Construction Engineering <br />Inspection Services <br />Construction Contract <br />Administration <br />Construction Submittal Review <br />Constructability Reviews <br />Change Directive & Change Order <br />Development & Review <br />Enforcement of Contract Terms & <br />Conditions <br />Pay App Review <br />Permit Compliance <br />Public Outreach <br />Stakeholder Coordination <br />Punch Lists <br />Substantial Completion & Final <br />Project Certifications <br />As-Built Drawings <br />Public Infrastructure <br />QA/QC <br />Reporting <br />Surtax Construction Documentation <br />Compliance <br />LAP Program Compliance <br />MOT <br />Multimodal Roadways <br />CITY OF HOLLYWOOD CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING <br />INSPECTION CONTINUING SERVICES CONTRACT <br />The scope of services includes: review documentation including construction contract, engineering <br />design/material specifications, and field/survey data; serve as the City Representative during the <br />Construction Phase; conduct continuous daily on-site inspections to check the quality or quantity <br />of the work and submit a daily inspection report to ascertain the progress of the Project and to <br />determine in general if the work is proceeding in accordance with the Contract Documents; schedule <br />and attend weekly progress meetings with the City and Contractor; guard the City against defects <br />and deficiencies in the work; ensure that the Contractor is making timely, accurate, and complete <br />notations on the as-built drawings; review all Contractor payment applications and determine the <br />amount due; review and provide recommendations for change orders; review and respond to RFIs <br />and Shop Drawings; review and provide Certificate of Substantial Completion; provide punch list of <br />all discrepancies and defects that require correction; issue Certificate of Final Completion; obtain <br />Contractor compliance with Contractor Documents such as notifications, submittal of required <br />deliverables (MOT, schedules, shop drawings, bill of materials) and final inspection of the site to <br />ensure clean-up; and comply with all Surtax construction documentation requirements including but <br />not limited to CBE monitoring, certified payroll reviews, etc. Task orders include: <br />Liberty Street Improvements: This Broward County Transportation Surtax Municipal Rehabilitation <br />and Maintenance (R&M) project included approximately 350 LF of sidewalk replacement, ADA <br />upgrades, drainage repairs, and pavement resurfacing on Liberty Street between N 33rd Avenue and <br />N 31st Avenue to benefit pedestrians and drivers.
