RFQ # 26-07-01 | CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH | CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING CONSULTING SERVICES (CCNA)92 <br />CES CONSULTANTS, INC. <br />CES has worked with Miami-Dade County and state <br />and federal regulatory agencies on multiple projects. <br />For the Miami-Dade County Public Works Department, <br />CES provided project management, contract <br />administration, construction management oversight, <br />and CEI services for roadway reconstruction, drainage, <br />sidewalks, ADA improvements, MOT, lighting, and <br />signage work. CES also provided design, inspection, <br />and construction administration services under <br />the FEMA-Miami-Dade County DERM Stormwater <br />Reduction Program for flood reduction improvements <br />throughout Miami-Dade County. <br />CES’s environmental permitting and compliance <br />experience includes designing water quality wells for <br />a DERM Class II permit, coordinating a pump station <br />design revision with DERM, obtaining an FDEP General <br />Permit for water main construction, and completing <br />designs in accordance with Miami-Dade County and <br />FDEP requirements. CES has also served as the South <br />Florida Water Management District’s Owner’s Representative liaison with USACE Jacksonville for Central Everglades Planning Project <br />South components, coordinating agency questions and the application of SFWMD requirements to USACE designs. This experience <br />provides CES with practical familiarity in interagency coordination, permitting, technical review, and regulatory compliance. <br />Additionally, Darlene M. Fernandez, PE, Technical Advisor and QA/QC, served as Assistant Director of Traffic Services for the Miami- <br />Dade County Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW), where she managed two divisions—Traffic Signals & Signs (TSS) <br />Division and Traffic Engineering Division—responsible for approximately 5,000 traffic signals, approximately 27,000 streetlights, and <br />1.5 million traffic control signs across the County. <br />A list of CES government and public-sector clients or owners are included below.
