<br />Additionally, CES has provided construction engineering and inspection
<br />(CEI), construction management support, and materials services for FDOT
<br />and Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise projects. For a multi-year Turnpike
<br />assignment, CES supported the construction work program and provided a
<br />variety of services in the areas of construction and materials engineering,
<br />inspection, testing, laboratory services, construction quality assurance, claims analysis, and materials support. For a massive $1.8 billion,
<br />multi-year I-595 Corridor Roadway Improvements project, CES worked with FDOT to provide construction engineering inspections,
<br />including earthwork, paving, drainage and drill shafts. The CES Team’s experience also includes coordinating with FDOT on projects,
<br />ensuring compliance with FDOT standards.
<br />CES team members also have FDOT experience. Uri Aszodi, PE, our proposed Transportation/Transit/Traffic Engineering Project
<br />Manager/Engineer-of-Record, is a transportation and roadway engineering leader with 23 years of experience delivering full life cycle
<br />projects across multiple FDOT districts and local agencies. Uri’s project experience includes FDOT Districts One, Two, Three, Four, Six,
<br />and Seven, as well as Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise. Rafael Urdaneta, Senior Inspector, has extensive FDOT project experience, including
<br />with Districts Four and Six.
<br />Darlene M. Fernandez, PE, Technical Advisor and QA/QC, worked for FDOT District Six, serving in various capacities, including as Engineer
<br />Technician. While with FDOT District Six, Darlene performed advanced traffic engineering analysis using in-house resources; analyzed
<br />traffic data using traffic models; prepared traffic engineering studies according to current practice; performed traffic engineering analysis
<br />and prepared traffic safety and operational studies; maintained the fatality database for Traffic Operations; extracted crash data from
<br />the mainframe and prepared crash summary reports and collision diagrams; provided technical support to Traffic Operations staff; and
<br />maintained and updated the Districtwide attenuators and guardrail inspections, post-mounted sign structures, signing and pavement
<br />marking, and illegal encroachments.
<br />Overall, our FDOT experience gives CES a practical understanding of FDOT coordination, documentation, review, and quality requirements.
<br />CES can help the City anticipate agency requirements, address comments efficiently, and support the successful delivery of projects
<br />involving FDOT funding, facilities, or right-of-way.
