Our comprehensive approach ensures <br />efficient, durable, and cost-effective designs for all structural <br />needs. <br />TRANSPORTATION/TRANSIT/TRAFFIC ENGINEERING <br />TRANSPORTATION/TRAFFIC ENGINEERING <br />CHA brings extensive experience providing <br />transportation planning, traffic engineering, <br />transit planning, and general engineering consulting services <br />for municipalities, counties, and transportation agencies <br />throughout South Florida. Our multidisciplinary team <br />delivers comprehensive services from planning and <br />feasibility studies through final design, construction <br />support, cost estimating, and project management. We <br />routinely prepare reports, technical studies, construction <br />plans and specifications, mobility analyses, grant support <br />documentation, and policy recommendations that help <br />communities improve safety, mobility, accessibility, and <br />quality of life. <br />Our transportation planning expertise includes multimodal <br />and Complete Streets planning, bicycle and pedestrian <br />facility improvements, Safe Routes to School (SRTS) <br />programs, corridor and subarea studies, traffic calming <br />initiatives, transportation demand management (TDM) <br />strategies, parking evaluations, curbside management, <br />mobility planning, and performance-based transportation <br />analyses. CHA also provides data collection and analysis <br />services, including traffic counts, speed studies, traffic <br />impact studies, operational analyses, origin-destination <br />evaluations, and mobility performance metrics to support <br />data-driven decision making. <br />CHA maintains strong working relationships with key regional <br />stakeholders and has extensive experience coordinating <br />with Miami-Dade County, Miami-Dade Department of <br />Transportation and Public Works (DTPW), Miami-Dade <br />Transit, the Transportation Planning Organization (TPO/ <br />MPO), FDOT, and local municipalities. Our team understands <br />the complexities of multi-jurisdictional projects and routinely <br />facilitates coordination among agencies, community <br />organizations, elected officials, and stakeholder groups to <br />successfully advance planning and implementation efforts. <br />CHA's traffic engineering services encompass traffic impact <br />studies, intersection analyses, signal warrant evaluations, <br />traffic signal design, signal timing optimization, Intelligent <br />Transportation Systems (ITS), roadway safety assessments, <br />Vision Zero initiatives, traffic calming design, signing and <br />pavement marking plans, Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) plans, <br />roadway lighting improvements, parking studies, and roadway <br />and intersection design. Our team also develops construction <br />plans, specifications, and cost estimates to support <br />successful project delivery. <br />A representative example of our capabilities is the City <br />of Doral Traffic Relief Plan, where CHA evaluated traffic <br />operations along major corridors, developed signal timing <br />improvements, coordinated implementation with the <br />Miami-Dade County Traffic Control Center, and measured <br />effectiveness through travel time, speed, reliability, <br />and congestion performance metrics. The resulting <br />recommendations improved corridor mobility and operational <br />efficiency. <br />CHA also serves Miami-Dade County through its Safe Routes <br />to School (SRTS) Program. Under the leadership of Hector A. <br />Vargas, PE, IMSA III, Project Manager for the County's current <br />SRTS contract, our team conducts pedestrian and student <br />safety evaluations, develops multimodal safety improvements, <br />and ensures compliance with MUTCD standards and Local <br />Agency Program (LAP) requirements. This experience further <br />demonstrates our ability to deliver transportation projects <br />that prioritize safety, accessibility, and community needs <br />With expertise spanning transportation planning, <br />transit, traffic engineering, roadway design, stakeholder <br />coordination, and project implementation, CHA offers the <br />technical depth, local experience, and collaborative <br />approach necessary to successfully support the City's <br />transportation program and evolving mobility goals. <br />CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING AND INSPECTION (CEI) SERVICES <br />CEI ENGINEERING <br />CHA has established itself as a trusted provider <br />of Construction Engineering and Inspection <br />(CEI) services, delivering high-quality oversight across a <br />wide range of infrastructure projects throughout Florida.
