Projects have included sea level rise <br />mitigation, flood protection studies and stormwater management master plans. <br />Arnelio has developed excellent relationships with agencies such as the South <br />Florida Water Management District, the Florida Department of Environmental <br />Protection, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and the Miami-Dade Department <br />of Regulatory and Economic Resources. He is qualified to obtain the Project <br />Management Professional (PMP) Certification. Representative project experience <br />includes: <br />City of Miami Beach, FL, Design-Build Services for Biscayne Point <br />Neighborhood Improvements. Project engineer for this design-build <br />neighborhood improvement project. Improvements included installing over 24,000 <br />linear feet of 8-inch to 16-inch DIP water main, a drainage system consisting of <br />over 8,500 linear feet of drainage collection from 18-inch to 48-inch diameter, 1 <br />stormwater pump station, over 1,000 linear feet of 24-inch PVC drainage force <br />main, and 10 drainage wells. The project also included streetscape, landscape, and <br />lighting improvements in this neighborhood of over 1,100 residents. <br />City of Fort Lauderdale, FL, New Redundant 54-inch Bypass Line Design- <br />Build. Project manager for the rehabilitation and replacement of approximately <br />15,200 feet of 54-inch HDPE force main. The project included 9,700 feet of pipe <br />installation using the innovative HDD technology to cross underneath essential city <br />streets and rivers. The project also provided interconnections to existing pump <br />stations and force mains currently connected to the existing and aging pipe. <br />Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department, FL, Proposed 54-Inch Water <br />Transmission Main along NW 57th Avenue. Project manager responsible for <br />installing 8,900 linear feet of a proposed 54-inch water main along SR 823/NW <br />57th Avenue, from W 53rd Street to W 84th Street. The project included installing a <br />sub-aqueous crossing, installing 54-in Butterfly valves at the locations indicated in <br />the plans, installing access manholes per M-D WASD Standards on each side of the <br />proposed Butterfly valves, installing blow-off assemblies per M-D WASD Standards <br />upstream of the Butterfly valves, and installing stub-out for future connections as <br />required by M-D WASD. <br />City of Miami Beach, FL, Stormwater Pump Station at Miami Beach <br />Convention Center. Senior project engineer for this design-build neighborhood <br />improvements project. The scope encompassed an area of approximately 84 acres. <br />The improvements included the installation of 2 pump stations consisting of four <br />20,000 GPM low-head axial pumps, water quality treatment structures discharging <br />treated runoff directly into a duplex wet well, a long energy dissipater structure, <br />and approximately 175 feet of new seawall following the most updated City of Miami <br />Beach Public Works standards.
