His <br />experience ranges in the Electrical/Lighting Design of Roadway, Lift Station <br />Facilities, Wastewater Treatment Plants, CoGeneration Facilities, Commercial, <br />Industrial, Health Care, Shopping Centers, Condominiums, etc. As part of <br />his experience Mr. Martinez has worked as Engineer of Record in projects <br />such as: Total New lighting for the SR-826/SR-836 Interchange, NW 87th <br />Avenue Interchange reconstruction at SR-836, Total New lighting for the SR- <br />826 (Section 2) Interchange, Miami-Dade WASD North District Waste Water <br />Treatment Plant, M-D WASD South Dade Waste Water Treatment Plant, as well <br />as Lift Station with emergency generator design for Miami-Dade County and <br />the City of Miami Representative project experience includes: <br />Miami-Dade County DTPW, FL, NW 37th Avenue Reconstruction (North River <br />Drive to NW 79th Street). Electrical/lighting engineer-of-record assisting with <br />the NW 37th Avenue project. This portion of NW 37th Avenue/Douglas Road is an <br />existing north-south two-lane road that extends approximately 2.72 miles from NW <br />North River Drive to NW 79th Street. The roadway divides the boundary of the City of <br />Hialeah on the west side and Miami-Dade County on the east side of the centerline. <br />The project will also upgrade one signalized intersection from span-wire to mast-arm <br />and modify three existing signalized intersections to match the typical new roadway <br />section. Additionally, four of the existing railroad crossings will be upgraded for both <br />F.E.C. and CSX Railroad companies, and two previously abandoned crossings will be <br />removed within this project. <br />Miami-Dade County - Department of Transportation and Public Works, <br />FL, Palmetto Traction Power Substation. Senior electrical inspector/designer <br />responsible for a new traction power substation that enhances Metrorail operations <br />performance and supports the new Metrorail vehicles. The proposed substation is <br />on authority property adjacent to the Palmetto Metrorail Station and will support all <br />traction power requirements between the Palmetto and Okeechobee Station. Florida <br />Power and Light will provide two new 13.2 kV feeders. These feeders will power <br />the new power substation and provide redundant 480V AC power to the Palmetto <br />Metrorail Station, replacing the existing FP&L 25kV system. <br />40-Year Electrical Recertification Services at 7924 NE 2nd Avenue. Engineer- <br />of-record for 40-year recertification report contracts that included warehouses, <br />shopping centers, industrial facilities, etc. This work included inspections of <br />existing systems and preparing reports with assessments of their condition and <br />recommendations for their repair or refurbishment. Eduardo performed electrical <br />inspections to determine the actual conditions of the existing electrical system and <br />to produce a report according to the Miami-Dade code. <br />Florida Department of Transportation - District 4, FL, SR 818/Griffin Road (SR <br />7/U.S. 441 to Anglers Avenue/Ravenswood Road) Highway Lighting, Broward <br />County, FL, FPID No. 443846-1-52-01. Lighting engineer-of-record for this $1.9 <br />million safety improvement project to upgrade the existing lighting system along <br />SR 818/Griffin Road. Improvements include upgrading the existing lighting system <br />along SR 818/Griffin Road. The high-pressure sodium (HPS) luminaries mounted on <br />the existing pole within the project limits will be upgraded to light-emitting diode <br />(LED) luminaries.
