<br />Steve Hughes, PE, will support the City of Sunny Isles with
<br />senior roadway design, lighting, utility coordination, value
<br />engineering, and QA/QC. He brings 25 years of roadway
<br />and transportation design experience, including 12.5
<br />years with FDOT District 4 as a Designer, Lead Engineer,
<br />and Assistant Section Leader for In-House Design. His
<br />experience includes RRR, widening/reconstruction, safety,
<br />intersection/interchange improvements, signalization,
<br />lighting, multimodal improvements, transit facilities,
<br />park-and-ride/travel centers, SUE/survey oversight, 3D
<br />modeling, utility coordination, estimates, scheduling, and
<br />plans/permit reviews. As a senior CTS design leader, Steve
<br />remains hands-on with quality control, CADD/3D modeling,
<br />utility coordination, and practical design solutions.

<br />Phani Allu, PE, PTOE, RSP2I, has 25 years of experience in
<br />traffic operations, safety analysis, access management,
<br />signal timing, pedestrian and bicycle studies, lighting,
<br />signing and pavement markings, and traffic data
<br />collection. He has led numerous FDOT districtwide
<br />studies involving crash analysis, signal and stop-control
<br />warrants, intersection and corridor operations, road
<br />safety audits, ICE evaluations, access management,
<br />concept development, and technical reviews. As Traffic
<br />Engineering Lead, he will direct methodology, field reviews,
<br />analysis, and recommendations to ensure the City
<br />receives practical, defensible, and implementation-ready
<br />solutions. His experience carrying studies from problem
<br />identification through recommended improvements will
<br />help Sunny Isles advance efficient, fundable projects.
