Surveying and Mapping (Continued)
For example, CGA was contracted to provide a scan model of the interior wall and cubicle layout of a 59,000
sq. ft., single story building at 200 Park Central Drive S, Pompano Beach, Florida. Numerous scans were
taken throughout the interior of the building to capture all partitions, survey data was processed, the point
clouds were made available to the architect, and an as-built survey was prepared showing dimensions of
rooms, offices, storage spaces, etc.
Transportation/Transit/Traffic Engineering
CGA’s Transportation/Transit/Traffic Engineering team consists of in-house transportation planners, roadway
engineers, and traffic engineers, who have a history of working together to lead transportation/transit/traffic
engineering projects and contracts. The CGA Team will contribute to the development of smart solutions using
the very best engineering judgment with deliverables that will be carefully prepared, reviewed, submitted on
time, and within budget.
The team has successfully completed mast arm upgrades, complete streets projects, roundabouts, traffic
impact studies, signal warrant analysis, widening projects, and ADA upgrades for many municipalities in
South Florida. In addition, the team has multiple Temporary Traffic Control (TTC) Advanced Certified staff,
as well as staff experienced in LAP and other grant funded projects. CGA’s transportation team also assists
multiple municipalities in their review of site plans and traffic impact studies as part of their internal site plan
review team, as well as reviews during engineering permitting.
Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) Services
Our CEI Department has been providing services in the transportation industry for over 20 years. CGA strives
to ensure that our clients’ projects are built in accordance with FDOT Standard Specifications for Road and
Bridge Construction, FDEP, and cities’ and counties’ approved plans and specifications. Our clients include
Florida Department of Transportation Districts 1, 4, 6 & 7; the Florida Department of Environmental Protection;
and over 32 local municipalities across the state of Florida.
Our CEI Department is committed to delivering a project that is not only constructed in reasonable conformity
with the plans and specifications but also one that satisfies all federal, state, and local requirements. By
integrating rigorous materials testing, diligent schedule oversight, and proactive dispute resolution, we will
ensure that the City meets its goal of a safer, more accessible community, delivered on time and in full
compliance with all funding agency standards.
CGA provides qualified, experienced staff tailored to each municipal CEI assignment. Our approach centers on
constant vigilance, transparent communication, and meticulous record-keeping, ensuring that each project
meets all environmental obligations while protecting the City’s interests and local natural resources.
Professional Grant Writing
CGA has experience providing Grant Application writing as well as Grant Administration. We monitor grant
compliance throughout the project “life,” including appropriate invoicing, grant procedural requirements not
to jeopardize any eligibility of grant reimbursement. The complex network of federal and state rules and
regulations requires nothing short of diligence, aggressive follow-up, troubleshooting, and follow-up with
grant agencies. We are proactive to ensure the appropriate steps are taken before problems arise, not after.
Construction/Project Management/Administration
CGA has provided Construction Administration services (including Project Management and Project
Administration) to numerous clients throughout South Florida, including the Cities of Fort Lauderdale,
Dania Beach, Weston, Plantation, Boca Raton, Miami Beach, and more. While performing Construction
Administration, CGA acts as the central hub for project coordination, ensuring all parties—including the
Contractor, subconsultants, and utility agency owners (UAOs)—are aligned with project objectives. By
fostering this environment of unification and solidarity, CGA ensures that site coordination is not just a
reactive task, but a strategic component of our overall project delivery that keeps the City’s best interests at
the forefront of every decision.
