City of Sunny Isles Beach, FL | RFQ # 26-07-01 | Continuing Professional Architectural and Engineering Consulting Services (CCNA) | 36

Client
City of Boca Raton
1404 Glades Rd
Boca Raton, FL 33431
Contact Information at Time of Project:
Talia Garcia, PE
Utilities Engineering Manager
(561) 239-6292
tgarcia@bocaraton-fl.gov
Project Date
2024 – Ongoing
Services Provided
Civil Engineering
Survey
Geotechnical (Subconsultant)
SUE (Subconsultant)
Firm’s Fees
$ 126,764.25
Construction Cost
$ 1,963,584.60 (estimated)
There is a small neighborhood in the northeast section of the City that is still utilizing septic
tanks for wastewater discharge. Therefore, the City elected to construct municipal sanitary
sewer infrastructure for future conversions from septic. Also, the existing potable water
infrastructure within the project limits has reached its useful service life and needs to be
replaced. The overall project includes approximately 1,800 linear feet of water main and 2,600
linear feet of sanitary sewer.
Additionally, a Developer is currently preparing plans to construct a new building on the west
side of the project limits. Part of the City’s agreement with the Developer is to have them design
and construct a portion of the sanitary sewer main along with a new lift station. Therefore, CGA,
the City, and the Developer had to coordinate the design of both projects.
In addition to the services listed in the column to the left, CGA’s scope includes preparing
design plans, permitting, and bidding services.
A1A AREA WATER AND SEWER
Boca Raton, FL
