Survey and Mapping Services
Boundary Surveys. Forboundaryprojects,allparent
parcel corners are located, as well as primary corners
from plats, right of way maps, lines of occupation, and
other reference material that may be used to develop a
strong boundary determination. All of these locations are
made using redundant measurements using the proper
toolforthejob.AProfessionalSurveyorandMapper
will weigh the evidence located and make a boundary
determination.
Topographic Surveys. Atypicalprojectwillusually
consist of establishing secondary control to assist in the
collection of the topographic features (curb, sidewalks,
stripping, signs, utilities, drainage Survey for inlets at
street intersections, bridge components, sign clearances,
trees, etc.). Acquiring topographic features and elevations
fortheDigitalTerrainModel(DTM)(3DSurface)wouldbe
collected using either tradition trigonometric locations
withaTotalStationandDataCollector,StaticLiDAR
(Leica P40/ P50), Mobile LiDAR (Riegl VMX-450 or 1HA),
UnmannedAerialSystemLiDAR(VAPOR55),orany
combination of two or more of these methods.
