Survey and Mapping Services
<br />Boundary Surveys. Forboundaryprojects,allparent
<br />parcel corners are located, as well as primary corners
<br />from plats, right of way maps, lines of occupation, and
<br />other reference material that may be used to develop a
<br />strong boundary determination. All of these locations are
<br />made using redundant measurements using the proper
<br />toolforthejob.AProfessionalSurveyorandMapper
<br />will weigh the evidence located and make a boundary
<br />determination.
<br />Topographic Surveys. Atypicalprojectwillusually
<br />consist of establishing secondary control to assist in the
<br />collection of the topographic features (curb, sidewalks,
<br />stripping, signs, utilities, drainage Survey for inlets at
<br />street intersections, bridge components, sign clearances,
<br />trees, etc.). Acquiring topographic features and elevations
<br />fortheDigitalTerrainModel(DTM)(3DSurface)wouldbe
<br />collected using either tradition trigonometric locations
<br />withaTotalStationandDataCollector,StaticLiDAR
<br />(Leica P40/ P50), Mobile LiDAR (Riegl VMX-450 or 1HA),
<br />UnmannedAerialSystemLiDAR(VAPOR55),orany
<br />combination of two or more of these methods. Check
<br />sectionswouldbecollectedtocomparetotheTIN/DTM.
<br />Leveraging these technologies gives our clients options
<br />to reduce contract costs and schedules; increase product
<br />qualityandefficiency;moreeffectivelymanageprojects
<br />and communication; and dramatically increase safety for
<br />ourstaffandthetravelingpublicbykeepingoursurvey
<br />crews out of the roadways.
<br />Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) Services. CED
<br />provides subsurface utility engineering and management
<br />services that support a wide range of clients including
<br />projectplanners,engineers,designers,contractorsand
<br />environmental consultants. We rely on our extensive
<br />experience and advanced industry technology to
<br />ensure our clients receive the most complete and up to
<br />date underground utility data possible. Following the
<br />SUEprocessisaprovencost-effectivewaytoreduce
<br />unnecessaryutilityre-locationeffortsbyaccurately
<br />mapping existing utilities for the purpose of identifying
<br />potentialconflictsandimpactstoproposedinfrastructure
<br />designandresolvingtheseconflictsusingthemost
<br />cost-effectiveengineeringsolution.Havingaccurate
<br />undergroundutilityinformationsignificantlyreducesor
<br />eliminates potentially costly delays and change orders
<br />for re-design and safety risks for excavator crews. Our
<br />teamofprofessionalsprovidesSUEsupportservicesby
<br />adhering to the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE)
<br />Standard 38-02 “Standard Guideline for the Collection
<br />andDepictionofExistingSubsurfaceUtilityData”.

<br />and other support services required for this contract on

<br />analysis of the properties and performance behavior of
<br />soils and all forms of materials used in the construction
<br />anddevelopmentindustries,includingfieldtestingof
<br />soils, asphalt, road base, concrete and masonry.
