He possesses experience in a variety of <br />engineering disciplines including civil, environmental, coastal, solid waste, water, stormwater, and wastewater. He has <br />assumed lead roles in directing project teams and junior staff for a variety of Florida projects. Brian currently serves as <br />GHD’s contract manager for the State of Florida Hazardous Waste and City of Tampa solid waste contracts. Brian has <br />served as the design engineer for a variety of design/build, permitting, solid waste, and environmental remediation projects. <br />Brian was named a GHD Principal in 2013 and has served as Principal in Charge for numerous contracts and projects. He <br />has an extended knowledge of resources and expertise available within GHD resulting from his over 28 years with GHD. <br />Recent projects include design, permitting, and compliance associated with development of properties in Port Tampa and <br />Port Manatee as well as design and permitting for projects involving Brownfield’s redevelopment. Brian has participated in <br />regulatory negotiations for a variety of projects and has successfully collaborated with local regulatory agencies, <br /> <br />Multiple Work Orders under General Engineering <br />Contract <br />Role: Principal-in-Charge <br />Client: City of Fort Lauderdale <br />Location: Fort Lauderdale <br />Mr. Moore has been supporting this continuous contract <br />support to the City of Fort Lauderdale since 2016 under multi- <br />work order contract awarded for a 5-year duration, General <br />Environmental Engineering Contract. He oversees the <br />management of several work orders under, which have <br />included Environmental Site Assessments, both Phase II <br />work orders, forensic cause and origin building assessment, <br />and impacted soils management. <br />Environmental Engineering Continuing Contract <br />Role: Principal-in-Charge <br />Client: Lee County <br />Location: Lee County, FL <br />Brian is the Principal and contract manager for the Lee <br />County Environmental Continuing Services Contract. <br />Currently under this contract GHD is providing a study <br />for the demolition of three Lee County water and <br />wastewater treatment plants, along with the <br />development of demolition specifications for the project. <br />Logistec Gulf Coast at Port Manatee <br />Role: Senior Environmental Engineer | Project Manager <br />Client: Logistec Gulf Coast <br />Location: Manatee County, FL <br />Project Manager/Engineer responsible for assisting with <br />Industrial Wastewater (IW) permitting for a sulfur prill transfer <br />facility. Permitting assistance was associated with a non <br />discharging closed loop recycling system. The permitting <br />required close coordination with the Civil Engineer and Air <br />Permitting specialists. The permitting also required <br />negotiations with the local FDEP office. Following <br />construction and operations, assisted with the preparation of <br />As-Built drawings and development of a Best Management <br />Practice (BMP) Plan for the ongoing operations of the facility. <br />Following operations at the facility, closure was <br />recommended. In order to properly close the facility, <br />negotiations were required with the local FDEP office, which <br />involved characterization of site wastewaters and <br />management of wastewater pond sediments. <br />Florida Department of Environmental Protection <br />Hazardous Waste Cleanup Program <br />Role: Contract Manager | Principal-in-Charge <br />Client: Florida Department of Protection <br />Location: Various locations, FL <br />Program Manager for GHD’s Florida Department of <br />Environmental Protection (FDEP) Hazardous Waste Contract. <br />GHD was selected to provide professional engineering and <br />geological services to provide support to the FDEP Bureau of <br />Waste Cleanup. The work includes hazardous waste site <br />cleanup services, drycleaning solvent cleanup program <br />services, and assessment and cleanup of State owned lands <br />sites. For different tasks associated with each area of site <br />work, scopes of work, workplans, and preliminary <br />assessments are conducted that are followed by site <br />assessment activities. Brian is responsible for all aspects of <br />management and execution associated with Contract. He is <br />focused on providing clear and concise proposals that are <br />readily approved by FDEP and tracking progress toward <br />completion of multiple project tasks simultaneously. <br />A GHD Principal <br />Colliers Engineering & Design   34
