Morales, P.E. <br />Business Unit Leader/Senior Project Manager <br />Engineering Department <br /> <br />Ms. Morales has over 26 years of experience <br />managing, directing, and supervising public sector infrastructure projects <br />for local governments. Her career spans 20 years in the public sector <br />administrating Public Works functions to include engineering, water plant, <br />utilities, stormwater, infrastructure, facilities and capital projects. <br />Ms. Morales is responsible for the development of project scopes, <br />stormwater and utilities master plans, federal and state grant applications, <br />construction plans of various infrastructure projects in accordance with <br />established criteria; engineering principles, and normal construction <br />practices; and development of jurisdictional agency permit packages and <br />coordination. She conducts field and office visits with clients, permitting <br />agency staff, and other project coordination as necessary. Ms. Morales <br />conducts plan and engineering reviews for compliance for municipal <br />clients. <br />Selected Relative Experience: <br />Force Main Directional Bore Canal Crossings, Riviera Beach, FL – Served <br />as Project Manager providing engineering services during construction and <br />construction management for the installation of approximately 585 linear <br />feet of 12-inch HDPE directional bored sewer force main crossing the C-17 <br />Canal and approximately 720 linear feet of 42-inch HDPE directional bored <br />sewer force main crossing the M Canal. The project also included the <br />removal of all existing pipe and structures associated with the aerial force <br />main crossings. Responsibilities included grant funding coordination, <br />permitting oversight, shop drawing and submittal review, contractor <br />coordination, construction oversight, and field issue resolution. <br />Stormwater Master Plan, Deerfield Beach, FL – As Department Director, <br />initiated the Stormwater Utility Fee and developed the City’s Stormwater <br />Master Plan to identify and fund more than $4 million annually in <br />operations, maintenance and capital projects. Improved the financial <br />performance of the enterprise fund securing grants and financing to <br />accelerate deferred capital projects and rates of collection via a non-ad <br />valorem fee.
