Giarratana <br />Senior Supervising Engineer <br />Engineering Department <br /> <br />Mr. Giarratana has 48 years of experience in <br />the civil and environmental engineering fields, <br />including water and wastewater treatment <br />plant designs, permitting, construction <br />management, certification, troubleshooting <br />existing treatment systems, pump stations, sanitary sewer force mains, <br />collection systems and potable water pipelines. Mr. Giarratana has <br />worked in the consulting field specializing in all aspects of water and <br />wastewater engineering since 1977 and has been working with CAS since <br />1998. Mr. Giarratana is responsible for managing civil and environmental <br />projects including their initial planning, financing, designing, permitting, <br />construction management and certification of completion. <br /> <br />Selected Relative Experience: <br /> <br />Glades County Wastewater Treatment Plant - Moore Haven, Florida. <br />Design, permitting and construction management for the conversion of an <br />extended aeration activated sludge wastewater treatment plant to an <br />advanced tertiary membrane biological reactor (MBR) treatment plant <br />including a man-made 52 acre wetlands disposal system. <br /> <br />Water Treatment Plant Expansion - City of Moore Haven, Florida. <br />Ultrafiltration expansion and remote booster pump station, including a <br />ground storage tank, re-chlorination and VFD controlled booster pumps. <br />The system is controlled by a new SCADA system allowing plant control <br />strategy via the internet. <br /> <br />Water Treatment Plant & 12 Miles of New Water Mains - Miccosukee Tribe <br />of Indians, Florida. Design of a water treatment plant expansion including <br />new potable water well pumps, degasifiers, carbon vessels, a new utility <br />office/storage/high service pump station building, ground storage tank <br />and 12 miles of water main construction at the reservation located in the <br />Florida Everglades. <br /> <br />Water and Sewer Treatment Plants including Water Utility Headquarters <br />Building - Wauchula Hills, Florida. Design, permitting and construction of a <br />wastewater treatment plant and effluent re-use disposal system including <br />off site sanitary sewer installation and six (6) sanitary sewer lift stations. <br />The project included a potable water treatment plant, two (2) potable water <br />wells, and a custom designed 9,000 sq. ft.
