<br />Professional Profile
<br />Ben has 10+ years of CEI experience on complex roadway and bridge
<br />projects. He served as CEI Project Administrator for FDOT District 4 (2016–
<br />2022), overseeing seven major projects and supporting TRC/ERC
<br />evaluations. From 2022–2024, he was Consultant CEI Project Engineer for
<br />Broward County HBMD, leading seven roadway and bridge projects. He
<br />currently serves as CEI Project Engineer on the GMX SR 878 Snapper Creek
<br />Expressway project. Since earning his PE in 2023, he has been Responsible

<br />Modifications and Lighting Improvements: $7M. Scope: +2.75 Miles of
<br />existing roadways and overpass modification for installation of LED Smart
<br />Lighting Systems. Responsibilities: included public relations involvement,
<br />preparing monthly and final estimates and cost projections for fund
<br />encumbrance, reviewing baseline and update CPM schedules. Detail pay
<br />item quantity tracking, weather letters, CPPR letters, material comparisons in
<br />MAC and document management in Project Solve. Creating and maintaining
<br />As-built plans with Bluebeam, conducting pre-construction, pre-activity, and
<br />progress meetings, and issuing minutes. NOI mitigation and utility

<br />CEI Project Engineer, 12/2023 thru 4/2024 2023-1-145 Riverside Sonovoid Bridge Rehabilitation, Coral Springs, FL– Contract Value: +$1.5M Scope: Major bridge rehabilitation on Riverside
<br />Drive Bridge over the West Outfall Drainage Canal. The recommended
<br />repairs identified by the Florida Department of Transportation enhanced the
<br />longevity of the structure by using an innovative deck strengthening design
<br />and construction method developed by HBMD. This method, one of the first
<br />in Florida, minimizes construction impacts to the public by mainly working on
<br />the underside of the bridge. Responsibilities include public relations
<br />involvement, preparing monthly and close out estimates and cost projections
<br />for fund encumbrance, reviewing baseline and update CPM schedules. Detail
