<br />CEI Project Engineer, 10/2022 thru12/2022 2022-1/2-210 Sheridan Bridge Over Turnpike Emergency Beam Removal and Replacement Hollywood. Contract Value: $2.9M.
<br />Scope: Work consisted of two phases: Phase 1: Emergency operation to remove the severed structurally damaged beam barrier walls
<br />and bridge deck, shutting down the east bound Sheridan Bridge overpass on Turnpike and setting up detours. Phase 2: Close
<br />coordination and design assistance to the bridge designers, strategic coordination with UAOs, FAA, FDOT, Broward County public works
<br />division, Cities of Hollywood, Pembroke Pines, Seminole tribe authority, law enforcement agencies, media, office of the Governor to work
<br />3, eight-hour shifts in a span of 15 days to remove the second damaged beam, procure, furnish and install two pretensioned / precast
<br />AASHTOO beams, by utilizing a 650 Ton Mobile Crane. Setting up Concrete formwork and reinforcement, for bridge deck and barrier
<br />walls, pour ready-mix concrete, remove formwork, install pavement markings, site cleanup, and finally remove the detours and open the
<br />east bound to traffic. Responsibilities included public relations involvement, preparing monthly and close out estimates and cost
<br />projections for fund encumbrance, reviewing baseline and update CPM schedules. Detail pay item quantity tracking, document
<br />management in Project Solve. Creating and maintaining As-built plans with Adobe, conducting pre-construction, pre-activity, and progress
